Ebay Fooled Customers again

By bringing the notout contest ebay has certainly fooled the customers again. From the first day the page to redeem gift appeared it had bugs that were left intentionally.

From that very day I knew customer will either wont be able to redeem gift or if they are able to redeem by clicking a link below to load page again (provided at bottom intentionally).

Now to most of the customers ebay will say you have not redeemed your gift. And they will ask you to send email and all and they will keep misguiding you.

I am web developer myself managing huge portals with vistors over 2 lacs per day so I know everything about web developement and whether bugs were left intentionally or not.

I am not saying this just without any reasons. I have proof to prove it.

So the clear message is if we dont get our gifts this time. Lets teach ebay a lesson. I will assist you in doing that. I know the exact way of doing this. For more details email me at prithvi.developer@gmail.com

Sellers are selling fake watches on ebay. One of them sent me a gold plated citizen watch which was a fake,i found out with one of the old, known watch sellers in Varanasi.I'm not naming that scum seller as they work like mafia and threaten you with calls and on email when they should rot in jails.ALL THESE CHEATERS,FRAUDSTERS SELLING ON EBAY,ONLINE SHOPPING SITES SHOULD ROT IN JAILS.

Well, I guess something like this has to happen eventually, ebay.. The consumer protection is pathetic and money is refunded only when the item is not shipped by seller. There is no protection against fakes and if the seller is uncooperative, which maybe rare but it happens, then the customer is left helpless. This happened once regarding a fake Sandisk pendrive. On filing a case against the seller of a fake on ebay, the customer is put through elaborate and pointless red tape, spanning over months, and asked to submit attested proofs and likewise, which any person who has a life will not bother about... but u know that, dont u? more like it could be exactly what you wanted, that people will get vexed and give up...
I have proofs of emails regarding this which i will give on request.

Similarly, many people here do not make purchases without coupons... there were many instances when the coupons don't work and end up showing an error message leaving the user helpless, as most of the time its pointless in raising a complaint as the coupon is valid only fr a few days and the customer care will likely not respond before the validity is over... One specific case in which i wanted to use a promotional coupon exclusively for Standard Chartered credit card holders.. Shockingly (or maybe it was made that way) the coupon did not work for me or any of my friends who own StanChart credit cards... and on raising a complaint... ebay customer care didnt do anything... But on raising a complaint with StanChart customer care they made ebay give me another coupon that works only for me (Note: ebay did NOT fix the old coupon which is used by all, although that would be the right thing to do)..
Again, i have proofs of emails AND screenshots regarding this.

@Prithvi: Forgive me, dude, for going a bit off topic, but I never bothered about the free gifts as they used to be not worth it compared to the discount coupons which i used.
But this time, since they are sending mostly worthless 5% discount coupons or no coupon at all, I might make a purchase and try availing a free gift to find this out for myself.

@Linus: Hehe, good thing u maintained a cool head in this discussion. Also, I am listing out my problems here just to point out that fixing things is always a far better solution than covering things up, not to turn up the heat.

I still think ebay is great for all my online shopping (was on a ebay shopping spree last month and credit card bill went to almost 16k ๐Ÿ˜ž )... Its just that when the policies are so rigid for buyers and sellers alike, the services are expected to be atleast glitch-free and user-friendly..

Bro today I have got a negative for a T-Shirt which was scissor cut on opening by either buyer or by courier company(as I trust my buyer I considered this as well).

Buyer wanted a refund of everything including return shipping charge, I agreed, Hardly 300 Bucks. but he has left a negative today. Also he has opened-
1- Item not received case
2- Item not significantly as described case.

It really hurts when you want to do your best and people
want to hit you their best.

I am out of my wits today, and half of my day has gone in this headache.

And by the way for your problems, eBay has many glitches, I feel best way you can sort it out is communication, If you call sellers and ask them for a solution I am 100% sure many of them will help you out. At least genuine one's will surely help. But for some Rotten Apples, You can be careful and use eBay Buyer Protection thing.

And one thing Never use negatives to speed things up, ( 2 buyers have tried this with me this in last 2 weeks)... Sellers may loose this cool and you may complicate things up. Negatives are the last measures when you have no other option but to warn others of that particular seller.

Yes, I saw how the stupidity of one buyer cost you your 100% feedback few days ago. Its really sad when people blame their mistakes on the seller.
Dude i very well know how important feedback is both to the seller and future buyers too. Thats why, in case u have noticed, my feedback always comes a bit late, after i tried out or tested the product... unlike many people who give feedback immediately on receipt of item.... Also i try to describe the item and the seller as much as possible in the 80 characters, as that would be really helpful to others...
Also there are hundreds of genuine sellers on ebay for whom customer satisfaction is the topmost priority.. I would gladly list you as one too :)... But there are some sellers who try to con people...
In the sandisk pendrive case I mentioned, the seller did not even pick up calls... and so all the buyers gave negative feedback as it was a fake item, except for 2 who apparently gave +ve feedback immediately after receiving the item. So there was no option left for me but to register a case.. which took more than 4 months for ebay cc to "process".. and then I was asked to submit proofs that the pendrive was a fake, and the proofs should be given and attested by "authorized" individuals. I really did not see the point in bugging Sandisk people for a mere 450 bucks... Also, I am pretty much sure they haven't even bothered enquiring about this with the seller... So what I am saying is, there should be some other way incidents like these can be resolved.
