We are a bit confused as to the action items required right now at our end.
Let's take, item number 121088157958 so that we have an example to refer to.
Now in the item description we do mention:
"Warranty
Dealer Warranty: This product comes with a fourteen (14) calendar day dealer warranty. In case of any defects, item must be shipped back to us using Registered Mail only within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt. On receiving the item, the product will be checked and if the product is found defective, a full refund will be issued.
Manufacturer Warranty: This product comes with a two (2) year manufacturer warranty. To obtain service within the manufacturer warranty period please contact the Philips Consumer Contact Centre. Philips contact details and full details of the manufacturer warranty can be found on the Philips website."
So from what we understand the above has to be removed. Is that correct?
-----
Is there any other action item? What about the information mentioned by us under the 'Return policy & Warranty' section under the 'Shipping and payments' section? Will this be automatically removed by eBay?
Therefore, what action items are required at the seller at this time? It would be advisable to give all action items in one shot as we will have to edit hundreds of listings one by one so it should not be we remove the item description now and then eBay comes back and says 'Oh do this as well.' We are specifically mentioning this because you mention and I quote:
"We will share the changed policy link in subsequent communication."
So we want to know whether we should remove the warranty information from the item description now or wait till eBay has all it's action items in place.
