My buyers complain that the payment portal after the buy it now selection, doesnot load, and after a few tries at different parts of the day , they give up that seems to be the problems, as daily i get such mails form umpteen buyers, they think we have got to do anything about the same, the payment postal website should be trimmed down to a simple non graphical mode so it can load fast and payments are done in a jiffy, the extra graphics, and dazzling colours are good on a fast internet line, but if we want more buyers to come and pay they should initiate a mobile payment site to which loads fast on mobile screens and slow connection internet lines.
I think this is what is pulling the sales down, their servers arenot able to cope up with heavy traffic and after a few tries the buyer feels frustrated and says forget it.
Also their helpline should be advertised more prominently and when mac donalds can have a easy help line, why does ebay keep a help line which is so complicated to remembers, invest in a repeating or easy to remember helpline and strategically post it and advertise so buyers donot lose faith if they cannot go through any buying process.
