This is Vijayanand from the PaisaPay Team. I and my team are responsible for ensuring that the PaisaPay facility serves your need in the best possible manner. I am also the part of the team which is working on the New PaisaPay.

With the New PaisaPay, I believe there are a lot of questions in your mind as a buyer and a seller on eBay. I will be here for an hour from 4 – 5 PM on Monday, 26th November to answer your questions regarding the New PaisaPay. Hello Vijay,

Thanks for organizing this workshop and we hope you will give a clear cut picture of the times ahead.

There is No doubt that the New PaisaPay would play an important role in accelerating the development of the site. But in this process many Sellers would be uprooted and many Buyers would misuse the site.

First of all I would like to mention that we Sellers are sincere and Hard working businessmen and do not believe in Gambling.

Why is there a chance whereby a Seller may loose the Item as well as his hard earned money ?

If a Seller inputs the dispatch details within 7 days of Paisapay Payment confirmation but due to some fault of the Courier Company the Item is not delivered within 10 days of punching the dispatch details ...... why should the Seller loose Money as well as the Item ?

Auto Refund is not a new concept on ebay ..... it is prevalent on quite a number of shopping sites. But there is no time bar after punching the dispatch details on other shopping sites. Also, there is no restriction on the other shopping sites that the Courier Company should have an efficient ONLINE TRACKING.

I have to use SPEEDPOST for atleast 15% to 20% of all my Online Sales. But from now on it would be very dangerous to use SPEEDPOST and other Couriers which do not have a tracking system.

It would be great if you could give a straight forward reply to the 2 questions mentioned below. It would help all the existing and New Sellers understand the system better and adjust themselves accordingly in the New PaisaPay ERA. In case you give a diplomatic reply then you may be hiding some facts which may result in really a Bad selling experience for many Sellers.

1. Is there a chance whereby Sellers may loose Money as well as the Item ?

2. ebay does not recommend Speed Post and other Courier Companies without efficient Tracking system ? .

Hello Vijay,

Welcome to the boards. Its nice to hear that you will solve our problems and confusions regarding New PaisaPay.

My concern is that I sell jewellery internationally and the only carrier to carry jewellery outside India is Registered Airmail and Speed Post of India Post and the shipment cannot be tracked online. The time of delivery is almost 2-3 weeks and if delayed it takes 4-5 weeks also. Now with New PaisaPay the timeline given is 21 days and extension of another 21 days on request (mercy) from buyer.

What will happen if a shipment gets delayed and the buyer will file Dispute and get the refund and after sometime the buyer receives the item? In this case the seller will loose the payment and item too. What do you have to explain for this type of situation?

Since 2 years of business with eBay I have never faced such problems with my international buyers.

Hello Vijay.

First of all,thank you for holding such a workshop as most of the seller think that the new paisapay would add more load onto the already busy sellers like the powersellers.

My concern is the delivery of items to remote areas India.

My logistics partner is Aramex and they do a wonderful job delivering the items on time along with providing online tracking facility.Aramex has service to almost all the corners of India,unlike Blue Dart which is very speedy but doesnt doesnt have service to every part of India.

But the concern comes when i have to send to buyers living in remote areas of Assam,Sikkim,etc where i had experiences of getting orders in the past.Courier to these places would take close to 15 days,that too i have to send the item by speed post which doesnt have an efficient online tracking system.No other courier service is ready to accept electronic items to such far off places.

In case the buyer asks for refund dispute,I would lose my money as it ideally takes close to 15 days to reach.

My queries are:-
1)If the courier reaches on the 11th day evening and the buyer files for the dispute on the 11th day morning,will he be liable to get the refund as speed post doesnt have effective tracking system.

2)Is there an option for speedy auto refund if the seller is not willing to send the item to such far flung areas as the seller is sure of a refund to the buyer?

3)Does ebay have any logistics partner that can cover different parts of the country so that the sellers dont have to worry about the courier of items.

Hello Vijay,
I use Pafex & Blue Dart to ship my parcels. They give us PODs of all parcels with monthly billing cycle, i.e. PODs of parcel shipped between 1st & 20th day of month is availble on 10th of next month, which means i cannot provide PODs immediately if any buyer files dispute.

My Question is:
Is ebay accepting Online Tracking Information as a Proof of Delivery in New PaisaPay?

or

eBay/PaisaPay recommend any other BETTER courier service who can provide PODs immediately.

Dear Vijay my concern is that along with my regular items, i'm selling a few ebooks also, where i ship the item on email only. In this case how do i enter the shipping/consignment details? I think the item of ebooks must be excluded from this system.

Dear Vijay,

Thanks for organizing this workshop. There were lot of clarifications from the users regarding the New PaisaPay on the other thread. But still I assume that there are some loop-holes which can't be digested easily.

1. People know eBay as the best marketplace to buy. I get orders with PaisaPay payment from very interior place where no courier service is available. Not even Speed Post! I send them through Registered Post / Parcel which gets delivered safely in 7-15 working days. But there is no online tracking facility available and the acknowledgment doesn't come or reach us after 1 or 2 Months.

So with the new PaisaPay, Do I need to cancel my deals ordered by my regular cutomers who pay through only PaisaPay and can be delivered through India Post?

2. For sellers who has a eBay shop: When ever I got out for a trip or to my native place, I use Shop Vacation Settings.

It shows the buyer on the listing as well as my custom message on my shop as:

The seller of this item is away until "particular date". You may purchase the item, but there may be a delay in processing your order.

If I am away for a week and can't access internet, then all the payments will reversed. (I may have this experience as I will be going out for 6-7 days next month).

So the purpose of Shop Vacation Settings doesn't serve.

3. Most of the buyers doesn't care of confirming it online as they do it through emails. As of now, I thought receiving feedbacks on eBay is difficult, but now receiving my funds is most difficult part as we need to stuggle for POD.

Most of the orders are from new users. They are always good and co-operative.

People from rural areas purchase products from eBay because, they don't get the same at their nearest place. They don't bother about time delay, But if the tracking facility courier is not available, then we need to loose the orders as it's way far from sellers hand in India.

The formalities of the new PaisaPay should be a reduced as sellers can serve good service to buyers. Hope the new PaisaPay will prove me wrong regarding my opinions. ---------------

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT ONE THING REGARDING THE NEW PAISAPAY SYSTEM...I THINK THE NEW PAISAPAY SYSTEM IS JUST BENEFICIAL FOR BUYERS....I MEAN I SELL ALL MY GOODS IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKETS AND I HAVE COME ACROSS SOME WORST INCIDENT TOO..ACC TO THE NEW SYSTEM THE SELLER HAVE TO SHIP THE GOODS TO THE SELLER AFTER RECEIVNG A CONFIRMATION FRM PAISAPAY...AND AFTER THEY BUYER CONFIRMS ABOUT RECEIVING THE GOODS THEN ONLY PAISAPAY WILL PAY THE MONEY TO THE BUYER...

THE PROBLEM ARE--
WHAT IF BUYER DONT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO EBAY..I MEAN WHAT HE WILL LOSE... IF I SHIP MY GOOD WHICH IS AROUND RS 50,000 AND IF THE BUYER DONT GIVE THE INTIMATION MY PAYMENT WILL BE STOPPED.

THE SECOND PROBLEM IS MANY TIME THE BUYER JUST DONT WANT TO PAY AND MAKE EXCUSES REGARDING THE QUALITY ALTHOUGH THE QUALITY IS ALMOST THE SAME AS MENTION IN THE DESCRIPTION OR SHOWN IN THE PIC.IF ON THIS TOPIC THE BUYER HESISTATES TO GIVE THE INFORMATION TO PAISAPAY THEN AGAIN THE SELLERS PAYMENT WILL BE STOPPED????AM I RIGHT??.. THEN IN THAT CASE WHAT IS EBAY GONNA DO...I MEAN THIS ARE VERY SERIOUS QUESTION AND IT IS A HINDRANCE NOW TO DO BUSINESS WITH EBAY...DONT YOU THNK SO??
