Hi,

This is Vijayanand from the PaisaPay Team. I and my team are responsible for ensuring that the PaisaPay facility serves your need in the best possible manner. I am also the part of the team which is working on the New PaisaPay.

With the New PaisaPay, I believe there are a lot of questions in your mind as a buyer and a seller on eBay. I will be here for an hour from 4 – 5 PM on Monday, 26th November to answer your questions regarding the New PaisaPay. Responses to your queries as given below:
1. In case you feel it will take more time then the default timelines provided by PaisaPay, suggest that you ask for time extension using the time extension feature of PaisaPay. Given that they are your regular customers and the products are not easily available in their town, don’t you think they will be more willing to accommodate any shipment delays? These buyers from very interior places are normally aware of the time it takes for shipment to reach them. Also, we did a check on the number of orders that is received from such areas, we found that a very small percentage account for such orders.
Just to reiterate, you will need to provide Proof of Delivery only in case the buyer raises a refund claim
2. In case you are using the “Shop on Vacation” feature on eBay, you can use “Make your Shop Inventory listings unavailable’ option in case you feel you cannot ship and input the shipping details in the stipulated timelines else use ‘Display a vacation message in your listings’ or ‘Display a vacation message in your Shop’ option.
3. For benefit of all sellers, I just wanted to clarify that in case the Buyer doesn’t confirm Item received in the stipulated timelines, PaisaPay will consider it as Item received. I understand your concern that sellers might find some delay in receiving funds. We had similar concerns, but when we made some quick calculations, we saw that if a seller ships on time (which sellers like you do), it will take you at most 12 - 14 days to receive the payment, which is not very different from today.

In New PaisaPay, in case the buyer doesn’t confirm Item received in the stipulated timelines, PaisaPay will consider it as Item received.
The buyer can only put a claim for Item not received in PaisaPay, ‘Significantly Not as Described’ claims by buyers on PaisaPay will not be admitted and sellers payment won’t be stopped, but the buyer will be requested to file a claim under eBay’s Standard Buyer Purchase Protection Program.

What is KYC(its benefits) and how can I qualify for Express Remittance--should I request for it or is it an automated process just like a 'Power Seller'?

Thanks for your kind words and liking the new features. We hope they will make selling on eBay more convenient for you.
India post’s SpeedPost service has online tracking system for Domestic as well as International shipments. Proof of delivery is only required in case the buyer puts a claim for Item not received and the seller wants dispute the claim. In the specific case you have mentioned, proof of dispatch along with online tracking number can be submitted as proof of delivery to PaisaPay.

Dear game_mastr,

KYC (Know your Customer) is normally used in financial transactions beyond particular thresholds in order to have more information about the persons involved in the transactions and PaisaPay is adopting the same.

As for Express Remittance, there are specific criteria’s to qualify for Express Remittance beyond which eBay would also have to make a offer to you for Express Remittance. Please refer to FAQ’s of New PaisaPay or the PaisaPay UA to know the criteria and further details on the same.

Thanks for your posts and let me assure you that Sellers are as important as buyers to eBay and PaisaPay. As for your other queries:

- PaisaPay supporting the branch – PaisaPay is using the list of branches as per the NEFT list provided by the RBI. In case your branch is in the NEFT list but is not showing in the PaisaPay registration please let us know (contact CS/ live chat) and we will try to get it updated as soon as possible.

- Offering either discounts or charging additional amount from buyers based on the payment method is not allowed on eBay

- As per the guidelines a seller can along with PaisaPay offer other payment methods such as chq, dd, etc. Having said this we hope you will like the new PaisaPay and continue to use it the way you use it currently. I have been reading your post and know that you are a great fan of PaisaPay.

Dear shree_krishna_gems,

Over our conversation with sellers who do significant amount of business, we have realised that using a reasonable courier service has its benefits in terms of better buyer experience transalating into repeat purchases.

Also as far as my understanding goes, it is only for some select destinations for which online tracking doesnot get updated. In such cases where you know that online tracking won't work, you may want to use alternate courier service.
