Hi,

This is Vijayanand from the PaisaPay Team. I and my team are responsible for ensuring that the PaisaPay facility serves your need in the best possible manner. I am also the part of the team which is working on the New PaisaPay.

With the New PaisaPay, I believe there are a lot of questions in your mind as a buyer and a seller on eBay. I will be here for an hour from 4 – 5 PM on Monday, 26th November to answer your questions regarding the New PaisaPay. You asked “Suppose the user pays the item on 4th dec.I send the item on 7th dec.But i enter the details only on 9th dec as it is going to be impossible to enter the details on the very same day itself.So the buyer would receive the item within 10 days.In case,a dispute arises(if the person lives in a remote area), will the buyer be liable to receive the refund as the details i had entered for the shipping was 2 days late.”
The timelines you are talking are for domestic shipment.
No the buyer cannot claim for refund in case you don’t input shipment details on the same day of shipment as long as you input details within the stipulated time for inputting shipment details and the 10 days for delivery (for domestic shipment) will start from the next day you input the shipment details.

Hello Mr.Vijay,

Welcome to the boards especially as this discussion was much much needed with the new paisapay coming into action from december!

My question to paisapay is that in certain cases,even if the courier has an online tracking sysyem,they fail to update the system on a day to day basis and also sumtimes if there is a technical snag...the details are not updated for weeks....this happened once with Dtdc.

Now in such a case,if the buyer files and INR on say 5th morning And the product gets delivered on 5th evening and buyer just doesnt bother to acknowledge receipt,as per paisapay poilicy...the buyer will get a refund because the online tracking system will not show the delivery and physical POD takes almost a month to receive.

My question is once paispay makes the refund to the buyer and later if the seller proves it that the item was indee delivered,will paispay make good the seller's loss on account of refund???is there such a provision to safeguard the sellers interest???

Vijay has just left the workshop, however, I will try and find answer to your questions:

if a buyer files for INR, the PaisaPay team will provide at least 5 days for the seller to contest the buyer's refund claim. In this specific case, if a buyer files an INR on 5th morning, and receives the product on 5th evening, the seller can provide the proof of delivery to PaisaPay on 6th or 7th. In such cases, money will not be refunded to the seller.

In any case, if there is an issue becuase of which you are not able to provide Proof of delivery, despite the buyer having received the product, please contact PaisaPay team, and they will do their best to support you and resolve your issue.
