I'm posting this topic to let you guys know about the faulty product which I got delivered from ICC WORLD, purchased off ebay. I received this mobile HTC HD2 T-mobile (item #180529241700 GEB - 330448700937 - BRAND NEW HTC HD2 T-MOBILE CELLPHO -- PaisaPay ID 26941342414) on 12th July 2010. The mobile is defective as the mobile doesn’t start up completely. When I received it the mobile it worked fine for 10mins and suddenly it restarted itself. After which the mobile just remains stuck on the welcome screen. I decided to contact ICC WORLD (reseller) and Ebay to get this replaced as soon as possible. I have shown the mobile to the authorized HTC service center and they have said that the mobile is defective. I contacted ICC WORLD and they have asked me to contact Ebay. I have also contact the person who has sold this cell phone to ICC WORLD and he asked me to contact T-mobile. I contacted T-mobile and they said that they cannot replace the mobile as I’m not a T-mobile customer.
I have already raised a dispute under the ebay buyer protection. The case is handled by Suhail Sayed and he was not able to give me any assurance on this issue as he is contacting the seller till now and haven't received any response. Which I have done by myself and already received the reply of contacting T-mobile. How can we solve this issue now as its already past a whole week that I have been waiting for Ebay reply. I need to get my money back or a replacement of this faulty product. I have contacted my credit card issue and they have confirmed that the transaction can be disputed. How can i escalate this issue even further.

Hi , It is great to see that eBay pinks have started responding recently . 🙂 But the response is apparently limited to queries towards GEB related matters only . Other domestic consumers & sellers are not so important …..????? Perhaps team is under great pressure from ebay.com masters to promote sales from USA to India.

Anyways at least now we can see some pink lines in our forums which were almost missing since our favorite Indraneel left.

I have already raised a dispute under the ebay buyer protection. The case is handled by Suhail Sayed. Believe you me when i say that im not getting a proper treatment from ebay. When i honestly advised that the cell was working for 10mins, that was taken as a point against me and the advisor reiterated that the mobile was working. For god sake, it was only working for 10mins.

Anyways, currently T-mobile is not able to help. HTC wants to fix the mobile. Absolutely no further response from reseller ICC WORLD. Ebay disputes team will never contact on their own so i have to contact them. The actual seller cellfonesus has asked me to get the mobile fixed from HTC.

Is it really worth the wait for ebay to resolve the issue?

Hey guys just to update u all on the issue. I have been asked by sushant to send back the goods to the reseller ICC WORLD and get a refund. I have asked certain questions about refund to sushant and once i get the reply will send back the mobile. will keep u guys posted.

That I won a Blackberry 8300 mobile phone (Item: 320551565872I) on 4th July 2010 through bidding on ebay. I contacted the ebay helpline as I did,nt get any positive response through resolution centre. I contacted the seller M/s Standard Enterprises at 9021674672 with Mr. Sunil who gave vague assurances about the dispatch of my WON item & I haven't received the same till date. I am extremely astonished to know through my personal experience that such a renowned site could prove a complete waste of my time and patience and could decline down to such character that it would refuse completely to take assurance of sellers on it’s site. I feel that I am looted of my precious time and money on electricity & internet charges on bidding on the e bay. I never knew that even if I win a product by bidding I would never get it. I don’t want my any near or dear to be lured by ebay.

Hey guys latest update on topic is that the only helpful guy from ebat that is Sushant has asked me to get the mobile fixed by HTC authorized service center and ebay will bear the expense and if mobile is beyond repair then a complete refund will be given...

Most of the GEB transactions are not smooth. This may hamper ebay.in's reputation.
