Dear All,

Hello,

Lets Learn from each other's expertise.
I am starting this thread where contributions from everybody is expected.
May it be the Champions of Baazee ERA OR the New Comers.
Helpful ebay Staff members too are requested to show their presence.

The purpose of this thread is to put forward your expertise / knowledge which you think would be helpful to other members.

It may be Tips .....which may help in Selling better.

It may be pointing out..... the best Courier Company for National Selling.

It may be the best email service available.

It may be something related to Computers, Windows, Anti-virus, Ad-ware, spy-ware.

It may be something which others shouldn't do .....unknowingly.

Anything which you think would be helpful to others.

Just don't think that a particular TIP is quite common ....there may be someone who might be benefitted out of that.

MY CONTRIBUTION

I am giving you a small TIP ......many of you must be aware of this. But I still feel that there may be few who are un-aware of this.....

For All those who are using Windows XP and find that the system takes too long to BOOT UP.
Also, when you shut down ....the system takes time.
This may be due to many Items place in the start up.
That is..... many icons placed at the right hand bottom........ near the clock.
Icons of skype, Blinking net connection, webshots, Anti-virus, Bit meter, fax, MSN messanger...etc etc..
This slows down the machine quite a lot.
There may be many, who have higher configuration with higher RAM, but still the TIP may be useful.

Just HIBERNATE the system while closing.
For this.... Click start
Click...Turn off Computer.
Press SHIFT.
The Standby button would change to Hibernate.
Keeping the shift pressed ...left click HIBERNATE.

This will save your current desktop state to your hard disk so that you can resume where you left off, than shuts down your computer.

HOPING TO SEE MORE TIPS ON THIS THREAD.

regards

Dear R.K. Goyal,

Hello,

There are two Options :-

1. While listing your product on ebay India you may opt to ship to custom locations and select USA and Canada only. For accepting payments you can register with PaisaPay payment processor of ebay India. This is the most convenient way for you to get payments in Indian rupees. Also, if your category of listing is compatable with those of USA & Canada site then your listing would show up there in a normal way.

2. You may list your products on ebay.com and ebay.ca sites but getting payment would be a problem for you. Most of the peolple over there prefer to pay via PayPal.
PayPal is the payment processor of ebay.com . For getting registered with PayPal you will require a Credit Card.

For any other information you may write back.

regards

Umang Midha .

Dear Amitava,

My heartiest congratulations on achieving this milestone.

This is all because of your dedication and hard work.

You achieved it in style, with 100%.

I remember you had your own share of problems with a couple of Buyers but you tackled them quite professionally.

You will now get the Power Seller Status soon.

I wish you much greater success.

best regards

Lets learn from each other's expertise

Hi indconcepts,
I am obliged to you very much for many things. I achieved this because of the help I received from you and others like touchnshine, onesimpleman and all others.
I just want to ask you this.
What is 'power seller'?
They say I have to have a/c with a good bank. I have one with State Bank and another new one with ICICI.
Is that okay?
Best wishes,
Thanx again,
Truly,
Amitava

Hello Amitava,

There isn't any requirement to have a special Bank account before getting a PS status.

ebay India is developing the Power Seller programme and at the moment they are offering exclusive promotions, packing material and few other benefits.

To know more about Power Seller Programme you may click the following link :

Hi to all senior and experienced members. I need soem advice regarding buyers buying your item and then no reply and nothing and even thougth ebay charges a 250rs to you. I really have this thing happened with me more than 2 times. And i am feed up with this kind of nuisance and time wasting ebay should make some filters to prevent this kind of things. I wanted to whether any action could be taken agains't these kind of buyers or anything else could be done to get rid of this advice from senior members will be admirable
