a big error in ebay

Hi,

as what we see in ebay that there is a big error..when you upload the product and put 2 shiping charges one for nation courier and another COD (local only).Like we are selling from delhi & cod is only available in delhi we put the option for delhi people but still goa people and mumbai calcutta etc. all region taking cod option..that is a big error if cod is local than there should be restriction that only DELHI people can take cod for other it show not autorized or please choose other shiping option...BUT if ebay cannot do this change the remove that COD LOCAL ONLY option from the ebay...hope you solve this error as soon as possible..because of this many unsucessfull deal is happeing

Hope eBay rectifies this. Also I suggest to add a note in all of your listing that Only Offer Local COD. This will help you a lot. ---------------

Thanks for the reply but we also mention this in DesCription in shipment details still some people purchase it as cod terms

Hi ganeshimpex,

If a seller offers Local COD only, buyers from location other than seller's city will not get the option of paying local shipping charges.

For example, if you are offering Local COD for Delhi based buyers. If I (a Mumbai based buyer), buy your item, I will see payment charges/options that are offered for national buyers only. I will not get option to pay for Local COD.

please check our listing has cod within the seller city option is live "LATEST DESIGN COMFORTABLE&STRONG WHAT YOU WANT MORE "6" but still putside buyer choosing cod i also have store message could you please check it

Hi,
I agree that many buyers do not read the listings properly before bidding. Hope casual bidding will decrease soon. eBay should also make the members more aware of the legalities about casual unpaid biddings / fake listings. Best Regards 😄
