Please see the issue from the sellers point of view. At times in some cases we have to wait for a few days to get response from the courier company and then we file the case in comm court and after that the buyer takes 10 days to respond(if he responds at all) and then the seller again replies and only then the case proceeds to the voting stage, on an average it takes 3-6 days in the voting phase. The total nos of days wasted for no fault of the seller is anywhere from 15-20 days or more and then another few days for the TnS team to remove the feedback.
I feel this is highly unjust to give the buyer 10 days to respond because in more then 70% cases the buyer does not respond at all. Please reduce it to 2 days time immediately.
Ebay sellers your views please.

Another comm court request that's pending ebay's attention for a long time is that "IF THE BUYER DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE COMM COURT CASE THEN DO NOT SEND IT FOR VOTING. This will reduce the load tremendously on comm court and ALSO ON THE VOTERS.

A sincere appeal to you to please keep away from this discussion. This thread is a serious topic meant exclusively for the ebay sellers and comm court issues.
Buyers who can contribute something valuable to this topic they are welcome, but in your case I doubt it.
So please spare us. We are not interested in your sermons.

Good Feedback score means more business and more business means more profit for eBay. All other deductions you tried , I find illogical.
And money is not blocked by eBay if a case is in CC. Most of sellers on eBay with good account standing have facility of ER where funds are transferred to sellers accounts after they enter shipping detail. So this has got nothing to do with Community court.
And why seller require 10 days because eBay when started was also for hobby sellers who had many other important things to do in life with more priority than eBay selling. Also some items are difficult to maintain in stock owing to high value or space requirements so they are available to sellers only against orders. Therefore there is this 10 days limit.
And forget to add, but CC is available only in eBay.in. So that staggering amount 2000 $ per second is I guess of all the eBay combined. I dont know what that has to do with CC.
(Please correct me if I am wrong in any thing)
