I have the following queries to ebay india about my Apr-05 and May-05 invoice, please comments on all queries:
1. Why you have charge for Basic e-bay Shop subscription, when it was free for one months?
2. Why you have charge for Selling Manager when it was free trial for one month?
You have charge Rs. 320 in 30 days free trial period.
What type of mathematics is this?
Is it not like 3 x ZERO = 7 x ZERO, so 3=7 by omitting zero from both side.
3. You have charge everything even in case of free promotional, or free Trial along with Service Tax and Cess. But at the time of reversal(partial) there is no reversal of Service Tax. As per service Tax rule (so far I know service provider is bound to reverse the Service Tax also in case of any refund/adjustment).
You can take the example of Credit Card statement. If they reverse anything, they also reverse Service Tax.
Rs. 320 has been charged tactfully along with Service Tax in 30 days free trial period. I think such type of collection is totally illegal. Although I’ll get credit without reversal of service tax after paying this amount.

Thnx GOD!!! I didnot use any EL's. Although there is a Home Page listing promotional offer (50% less). but they will charge full (i.e. Rs. 300 + Rs. 30.6 as service tax and cess) immediately and after one month they will reverse Rs. 150. So actually we will pay Rs. 180.60 instead of Rs. 165.30. So ebay is charging Rs. 15.30 extra along with Rs. 150 on haold with them for over a month on Rs. 300/-.
So easily you can imagine what a crude tactice they are applying to suck money from the sellers.
Please stop such scientific cheating.
