To Navin Mistry,
Sir,
You are a true friend of sellers. When everythings seem to go wrong, you have shown us the way.
I have an issue, if you can label it as issue at all. You are aware the great changes that have taken effect in last February due to technical up gradation. But that has a negative effect on bidders. They need to spend about US $150 to upgrade their PC. So much so that it is difficult for some buyers to pay by PayPal. In one case I had to take help of PaisaPay for payment.
I fully understand that technical up gradation can not be stopped. But you can just remember the specific needs of North American and European buyers. Just keep them in your mind.
Wish you best,
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

Dear Sir,

I had couple of things for you.

1. As a new seller , i did not find any tutorial as such which can help me sell at international level. If you provide us some specifications like what do we need to do in legal terms in order to sell abroad.

2. I am having difficult time managing competitors , some or other person comes up and buys some item and gives me negative feedback , i have even raised this issue earlier with ebay court but no use. I am not sure, if you can answer this question now , but we can take this offline.

Thanks
Vinay

Dear Naveenji, Thanks a lot, this is nice to allow us to suggest and discuss our difficulties or issues. Well I am not sure if my problem is an issue or am not able to understand the system of listing the goods. I have always seen that whenever I list a new item, after listing it when searching the same on in listing it comes around or visible on 20th to 25th pages or more around according to the option best match or relevance. I have also seen the most preferred sellers items listed days back is always on first few pages or we find their listing on each 2nd or 3rd page and due to which they are growing more and more day on day. While we are selling the same goods with not a single difference from their material, yet our products doesn't sell fast cause the buyer does not have time to see items or check the listing up to 20+ pages. So I request you to give some better option where new sellers get chance to be visible faster so as they can also be a power seller or grow like others. I am raising this point cause I have faced the problem personally. Wait for your ideas to help me out.

Dear Sir,

I have following concerns kindly address those:

a)I do not have any IE code yet I have been sending things abroad. Is it illegal to do this? Also If I do have an IE code whats the advantage of it. Where should one write the IE code on the pack. If at all any goods get stuck up at the international arrival post/ customs whom to contact for the reason for being held etc etc.

b)Paypal requires the funds to be withdrawn within 7 days of confirmation of consignment delivery, but the amount if lesser than $10 Paypal rejects( some cases when the product is shipped within India) can you take up this matter with PayPal being your sister concern.

c)Please specify which is the cheapest shipment mode to send items to international customers. I am using international speedpost yet find it costlier than few sellers offering the products including shipment at much lesser rates. ( how do they do)

d) Any specific items that should be avoided to sell apart from chemicals and hazardous material that we consider ok but may be banned.

Thanks

As per new guideline we have to remit money to India on sales made thru paypal.Recently I tried to make a withdrawl of 200+ US$ from my paypal a/c.What happened due to merger of my banker State Bank of Indore with State bank of India, there was some change in bank details which i was not aware of.Naturally the withdrawl bumped.
I was charged conversion charges from US$ to INR while withdrawing + INR Rs. 250 +conversion charges from INR to US$ .Thus I lost approx. 50 US$ without any of my fault.I am sure many other paypal SUBSCRIBERS must have experienced the same thing.
Do you think it is justified to levy such hefty charges .
