If you think you are PROTECTED transecting on ebay, you are a NOVICE. Ebay do not have any effective mechenism for controlling those cheaters.

If you have not yet got yourself into trouble with a buyer or seller on Ebay, you must consider yourself EXTREMELY LUCKY. It is only a matter of time before you run into some cheater. Because Ebay is PROTECTING and HARBOURING all these scoundrels, probably because Ebay earns some revenue on each transection.

A seller in US sold me a phone. I paid him by Paypal. A day after successful sale, seller said it was
a mistake!!! and he do not have that phone!!! (Probably the price was not right for him). Anyway, THIS IS NOT MY MISTAKE. He refunded money, but I suffered currency conversion costs, which is about 10%, for both monetory transections, payment and refund, because of HIS mistake, not mine.

THERE IS NO WAY TO GET COMPENSATION. MY MONEY IS LOST.

IF WE THINK WE ARE PROTECTED BY EBAY, WE ARE FOOLS.

I had bid on a item on 26th aug 2006 & made payment through paisapay online facility on 31st aug 2006 for which the paisapay id number shows on record.
[Receipt for Your Payment to ashaambe for PaisaPay ID 17659463463]. Now it shows that the seller is not listed on ebay and niether is there any way of contacting him. I shall be greatful if you could reimburse me my money that is all i want to convey to you.

Dear Sharat,

The only problem with this site is VISIBILITY after purchase, i cannot track my purchase and this is also affects the trust in ebay brand. there is no specific email address to email our queries nor do we have any phone number where we can can call, and if these email and phone number exist then they are not easily visible on the site, kindly look into this matter. i have ordered 1 earphones, now i have made the payment but i cant track the status of the product, hope you help me with this.

I am a seller and a buyer in eBay, and my user id is satheeshstamps.I use PaisaPay.
But I didnt got my 3 Paisapay payment checks,The Details are below.

1. PaisaPay Payment for the period ending 31-Jan-2006
PaisaPay account balance of Rs. 1,335.80
2. PaisaPay Payment for the period ending 07-Feb-2006
PaisaPay account balance of Rs. 1,104.93
3. PaisaPay Payment for the period ending 07-Mar-2006

I complained 3-4 times in your respective sections, and got only the reply "Thank you for using this service, we will solve your problem with in 48 hours".

I am a frequent buyer with ebay.But however i have tried to get the registered office address and telephone number from your website.At the sametime i have send twice a mail regarding this,but no feedback received from your ebay India team.
Secondly my queston for you is that if a buyer from-(Mumbai) buys a product from a seller who is located in a different state( Delhi).Whats the surety and security that the product purchase through the seller is genuine,since most of the items as shown in the bidding columns are without the shipping insurance.Moreever if a person wins through bidding,he has to pay the item price before the product delivered to his doorstep.

Iam a seller from the baazee days...I miss thoes telephonic conference that sellers and managers used to have.

I have even chatted with you on your MSN id many times with various issue.

Since ebay accessebility to descision makers is totally cut off !


The customer support is a bunch of copy paste answers !

SOME THING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THE FRAUD ORDERS. ALMOST 26% OF MY ORDERS ARE FRAUD !

This includes Thoes orders who never complete the buying process and thoes who choose COD and and are returned !

* I offer COD and there should be a way by which buyers with Rating 5 or more only can choose COD as a Payment.

Mr Sharat,

I have placed order mobile AX72 ( sellers ID itwizard47)item no 300020468342, I have received the item but it was received from different sorce.
I paid my DD to "CLASSIC ENTERPRISES " MUBAI AS per sellers requiremnt. But I received the item fro different firm namely UNIQUE ENTERPRISES .
Do not you think this is wrong?
Another thing they are supposed to send waranty card signed and stamped by the firm. But Irecived blank warranty formms with the shipment. Do not you cosidr that it is improper to send balnk warranty card.

Because of this defececies buyres are required to be extra careful.
I hope such issues must be addressed positively.

OOOPS lots of problem with ebay..There are lots of international buyer who are fraud. They are asking for the personal banking account number and not ready to pay thru ebay channel. Guys beware.....This is the first time i am using ebay to sell but i am really pissed off.i will not suggest anybody to trade through ebay.

I am Manisha Kaul my ebay id is honest_himachal.I have posted a letter of one of my best friend Sooraj Awasthy (ebay id awasthy_1in) to "Help from other users"...name of the topic is "Think about the buyers of very remote area".I REQUEST YOU KINDLY READ THAT LETTER.As i interested in ebay due to Mr.Sooraj Awasthy, but when i saw him very frustrated, and tensed abt the dealing of EBAY specially for very remote area people...he said me that better we quit ebay because its a FUN for urban area & city based people & nothing else.He live approx.65 miles from our village which is hilly & very remote,he used to come alternate day or twice a week to visit the wholesale shops in our area for purchase some items to sell in his village.As he was my best friend,he used my computer and net, he created his email address and after some time he registered in ebay,i am also using the same email id of yahoo.com. Now the questions are (1.)awasthy_1in SENT THE EBAY FEES OF Rs.209.00 VIDE DEMAND DRAFT (No.SYH 425738)ISSUED BY BANK:PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK,Branch:RAJA KA TALAB. POSTED BY RGISTERED POST (No.3005)ON 1st of Sep.2006.He mentioned it in every notice..but your ebay staff need PROOF! THERE IS NO PHOTOSTAT & FAX FACILITY IN THIS AREA.BUT MORE THAN THAT when a gentleman gave you the full description then why you people not search it in your "letter receiving section" or why you not asked or enquired this in post office of your Area,or in your Bank A/C?? What action you take against the concern person WHO TOOK ACTION AGAINST awasthy_1in to suspend his ebay registration,if you find that not only the letter is delivered but also the DRAFT AMOUNT is entered in ebay a/c?????...he also attatched the email print out regarding the fees issued by EBAY.(2) WHY YOU ARE NOT ASKING Mr.Jishnu Bhattacharya for item No.300012923054 that when he recd. the M.O. BUT WE WILL SEND IT VERY SOON...PL.COOPERATE.HE REPLIED O.K. ITS FINE!I WILL REVERT MY COMPLAIN WHEN I RECD. THE PAYMENT...Its not a metro city as Mr.Bhattacharya live in KOLKATA or your EBAY OFFICE functioning at MUMBAI."JHAT SE ORDER..PHAT SE PAYMENT ..TARRAK SE ITEM MIL GAYA" you will surprise to know we have to pay to the cour. ser. to receive the items even some time upto Rs.200.00 if its heavy as & for they make a STD call (of merely Rs.2.00)to inform us "come & take your item here" and they charged as per their wordings ..."we have to go PATHANKOT and the bus fare and the charge of the delivery boy cost Rs..so& so ..we are charging as it was only for your item or sometime two or three of others".Inspite of such type of problems we continue purchasing in ebay! NOW IT SEEMS ITS OUR VERY BAD MISTAKE AS EBAY INSTEAD OF SUPPORT & ENCOURAGE THIS TYPE OF BUYER USED TO SUSPEND THEM SO TAT SOME CUNNING SELLERS CAN DIGEST THEIR PAYMENT !!
