hi,
actually this has happened with me also.one person is really irritating me with this delivery to nigeria thing.i was about to send the shoe to him before i saw this board.but i have now sent him email saying that i wont complete the deal.anyway i have the right to not complete transaction with anybody i want being a superseller.i hope ebay starts verifying its buyer base.i have a conversion rate of 1/10 on ebay at the moment in terms of buying.but previously i had a 5/10 conversion rate.i think ebay needs to become better now.ebay are you listening.thank you.

hey...the ebay management team...i have been sent stinkers from the e bay that i'm not paying..for one product...well its delibret becouse the last two products i have paid for i haven't recieved yet..one of them was a swimming pool for kids...and the other one...laundry bag...the seller of the later one has responded..but the swimminpool seller..apearently he is not with ebay any more...but i have already paid..who is responsible....there is something called customer satisfaction.....i'm not satisfied simply becouse went ahead and paid coz i trusted ebay..not the seller...now they are expecting me to pay for another product...HELL NO...i'm not paing or dealing with ebay till the time they do something with my previous puchases....as soon as i recieve my things...i'll go ahead...and pay for the third one....or else...i'm not dealing with anythibg on ebay....if the management is listning....reply..you have my contact info....respond.

I have some queries regarding the suspension of a Seller A/c and Ebay India Listing Policy Basis.

Suspension of A/c is just a loss for both Ebay end and Sellers end.

Now a days most of the sellers are afraid of suspension of his/her a/c in ebay.in for a certain period. What are exact reasons for such suspension? Will the seller be informed before the suspension and will get a chance to rectify his/her mistake?

If a seller cheat buyers or does not pay ebay fees he may be suspended instantly without any intimation but is he/she can be suspended in case of listing policy violation like โ€œKeyword Spammingโ€ etc. Because most of the sellers are still habituated with Baazee listing policy. In ebay.in it has been found that so many listing are under the violation of listing policy where as those items were Hot Selling items in BAAZEE.

What is the basis of setting Ebay India listing policy? Is it based on Global Ebay policy ?
If so I have seen so many items which are being sold globally in Ebay where as those are illegal in Ebay India.

Frankly speaking Ebay India listing policy is a Night Mare to any seller. One seller โ€œthethirdiโ€ Avishek Agarwal says that โ€œRead the Ebay Listing TWO TIMES every dayโ€ โ€œone at early in the Morning and other before going to Bedโ€.

Iโ€™m doing so every day but still I didnโ€™t understand which of my listings violates the Listing Policy.

My request please
1. Intimate sellers and give him a chance before suspending his/her a/c
2. Set the Ebay India Listing policy as per Indian Market because we are Indian Sellers.

Query regaring Ebay India Customer Support:

I have no complain regarding the response time of Customer Support Team. But most of the cases their reply doesn't satisfy us hense became meaning less to us. Either they didn't understand our porblem or we didn't understand their reply.
e.g. I had faced one problem - Image not appearing in my listings. I had communicated with ebay approx 10 times and didn't get any solution. Finally I observed that it is due to lower bandwidth of the Image Hosting Site.

So it is necessary to educate properly the Customer Service team so that they can understand our problem and comeup with proper solution.
Secondly its became mandetory to setup Ebay Customer Care with a toll free number to communicate, like all top rated service provider. I am sure this will increase our satisfaction level to a certain level.

hello,

ebay is bringing in some changes in the feedback system.
The proposed three changes are:

1. Neutralising feedback left by members who don't participate in issue resolution processes.
(such as the Unpaid Item process or the Item Not Received process)

2. Removing feedback from users who are indefinitely suspended within 90 days of registration.

3. Requiring new members to complete a tutorial before leaving neutral or negative feedback.


I would like to mention that this is a first step forward but not a foolproof system.

I would like to ask what happens when a Buyer pays for the Item. Is he allowed to give negative rating without contacting the Seller.

Sellers receive nagative ratings for Small things like:

"this was not the colour"
or
" I have still not received the product"
or
" this is no value for money"

What steps are being taken for these kind of problems.

Further, I would like to ask if the Seller is ready to refund the full amount to the Buyer then why shouldn't he have the right to get the negative rating removed.

You are requested to kindly incorporate this Point in the New feedback rating system which is coming in force.

Further, that suggestions should be asked from Power Seller on this Topic before something is finalised.

Necessary Points if incorporated in the Rating system would help in elevating the confidence level of the Sellers.

in discussion. What I wanted to say is quite similar to indconcepts. Edition of
rating must b done like it was there on baazee where if the buyer is satisfied
with the seller he can change the rating. Actually if we say a buyer to withdraw
the rating. They won't understand what we mean to say and if they understand
then they don't know what to do exactly. There are many users here who are so
ignorant that they just don't know how to use community boards and withdrawing a
rating is just not their cup of tea. Atleast make this procedure easier. I must
say Baazee was really easier as compared to Ebay.in. Plus I would also like to
say ---- Why r we charged for

international fees on Ebay.in ?? In Baazee we have never been charged for this.

Believe me if Ebay provides international listing free then there will b more

gains to Ebay too and it will also promote sellers to sell their product

internationally.

Plz
look to my suggestion as an important one. It's

gonna b good for all of us.

Dear Sir,

Baazee.com used to advertise a lot on TV Media. Their media advertising campaigns were result oriented and targeted towards the potential buyers and sellers. Baazee.com encouraged people to take interest in this new market which we call Online Shopping.

I am very curios to know the media advertising strategy of eBay.in. I have not seen any add of eBay.in on any media from a very long time. Is it true that you have lost more then 30% existing buyers and seller in this new takeover?

Do you have any aggressive media marketing campaign strategy for eBay.in?

One more thing I have noted that, it's a 24/7 Market but does not have 24/7 online support though chat. You must provide Buyers and Sellers with 24/7 online chat support. What are your views on this issue?

Suspending sellers account without giving then a chance is not at all good. Many new sellers get trapped in suspension because they do not have enough knowledge. You should give them a chance rather then suspending their account.

i paid for an item in april 2005, Item # is : 5375832839.
Ive made several attempts to get the refund for my payment as i never received the item, however neither does the seller nor bazee is doing naything about this. Pls advise!!!

Dear Sir,
There r some buyers who go on bidding on the item and increasing the price of the item, and never pay or respond after winning the auction. Most of these are newly registered buyers, due to this some genuine buyer's are deprived of buying the product. Till date I have came across about 7 such buyers, they really irritate, and itโ€™s no fun selling on eBay due to these guys. There r also some buyers who have not entered their address and contact details while registering with eBay, hence we r not able to contact them. eBay.in also charges fees for listing an item internationally. Its a good news that international buyers can pay through PAISAPAY but there r hardly any international buyers who know about PAISAPAY. All international buyers r comfortable paying through PAYPAL.
And if we want to offer PAYPAL as a payment option to our international buyers we have to add a note in our item description saying โ€œWe accept payment thru PAYPALโ€.
Here r some suggestions:
1) eBay should see that new members give their address and contact details while registering , and also verify the same before granting them membership.
2) eBay should take their credit card information during registration process and verify the same, and charge their credit card if they do not pay or respond to a item after winning the auction.
3) eBay should not charge sellers for listing items internationally, instead charge them if the item is sold and the buyer is a international buyer. This would encourage more sellers to sell items globally.
4) Make sure that international buyerโ€™s r aware of PAISAPAY and how it works.
5) Allow sellers to provide PAYPAL as payment option as we give PAISAPAY on ebay.in, such that PAYPAL icon appears in front of our product when viewed in gallery listing on international ebay sites.
