I WASA A SELLER SINCE BIDORBUY.COM AND BAAZEE.COM AND I GENUINELY SOLD MY PRODUCTS TO GENUINE BUYERS. BUT SINCE LAST 60 DAYS I HAVE RESTARTED SELLING ON EBAY.IN SITE I HAVE 4 WINS (PURCHASE ORDERS) ALL OF WHICH ARE FAKE OR BUYER HAS REFUSED TO MAKE THE PAYMENT GIVING REASON THAT CLICKED ON BUY BUTTON BY MISTAKE OR HE HAS NOT RESPONED TO THE INVOICE AND MESSAGES SENT. FURHTER EBAY HAS SENT ME INVOICE IN 30 DAYS AND WE HAVE GONE FOR FULL VALUE CREDIT OPTION. HENCE KINDLY GIVE US CREDIT FOR THE SAME AND PLEASE DELIST THE MEMBERS EVEN FIRST TIME DEFAULTERS AND CHECK THEIR BONAFIDES BEFORE ENROLLING THEM

Hi Mr. Bajaj,
Here's hoping that some of our suggestions will be taken up and reflect at ebay.in in the coming weeks!
My problems are much the same as the ones already listed, but maybe writing them out again will make a statement about how urgently certain changes are needsd.
1. I am a seller. Please do something about the buying process.. I have never had so many bogus purchases. Poeple just dont respond to emails or calls even. To apply for a FVF credit, one has to wait 14 days (7 days to put up a dispute, and then another 7 to close the dispute) In the meanwhile, ebay has already charged me a FVF, what I have to pay no matter what! When a FVF is about 500 on an item, and it gets purchased over 4 times in a month, and the sale isnt completed, I cannot afford to keep paying these amounts. Please look into this problem that as lot of sellers are being faced with.
2. Is it possible to make feedback mandatory? A lot of buyers dont even know how to leave a feedback, and so they neglest to do the same. When i have asked some buyers for a feedback, I have got an email appreciating my services. This is what some consider feedback to be. Help sort this out, and make selling a joyous experience for one and all.'

1st congratulation to you.
here something i would like to say.
i just happened to be on this discussion forum as i hardly find time .
seeing others feedback and comments, i thought to share mine too.

There are lot of bugs in ebay system..
i still didnt understand how you peoples charge or prepare invoice for the products whose deals are still not completed .
in simple as soon as the buyer clicks on the buy option. the ebay system charges for their fees even if the sale is not completed this creates a lot of confusion.

speaking frankly i am always confused with my invoice on ebay . these days i personally have to keep a track of my sales and FVF.

please do something for this.

there are many other issues on ebay which are annoying.
such as their fees structure, charges on listing, unable to solve sellers problem even after mailing them(they just dont understand--> their replies are different then the questions we ask).

hope you improve the ebay system.
still i think baazee was better. i know the ebay will take time to make it.
but make it soon

Hello Avnish. Welcome
to this open discussion board with lots and lots of suggestions, complaints.
Well it seems too bad welcoming with complaints but seriously we are having
complaints and we need strict actions. I have many suggestions/complaints which
are already mentioned by snrama and spaceview_in1 but I would like u to review
again :




1. Make Seller Fee
Account exactly same as baazee.com -- Suppose we haven't sold anything for whole
1 month. All buyers are fake. Seller A/c is showing 500 as fees. Yaa I know it
will be credited in the seller's a/c next month. Now if I don't have 500 to pay
then ? Ok fine take me as a poor seller I can't pay this fees as because all the
sales were unsuccessful then y r u asking for fees ? There is a strong need for
Ebay invoice to be made exactly same as baazee.com. We sellers are not happy
with this Ebay invoice. U can't find one single seller appreciating Ebay
invoice. That's y there are lots of issues on Ebay invoice.




2. Where is the
Request Feedback button? -- I heard that Ebay.in is more advanced than
Baazee.com but find nothing special in it. Infact it's more complicated .
In baazee there was such a good feature provided --- Request feedback . Where is
that feature in Ebay.in. Why u people just removed that such nice feature when u
transferred from Baazee.com to Ebay.in.




3. What about contest
results ?? --- I have played three contests all of them started on 1st of June
and ended on 30 th June , 2005. The contest names are : Spread The Word And Win
, Brain Teaser Contest and Keep The Catch contest. I contacted live chat help
many times I guess may b more than 10 times to know the results of the winners.
Every time I got one single reply that the winners will be announced soon.
Atleast give one particular date on which u will be announcing winners of these
contests. Now I have come to the conclusion that the winners will be announced
next year or never. These contests were fake contests on Ebay.




4. Some promotions
clarification : Plz improve ur promotions . Like when u start a promotion of
Featured Plus Listing --- U say it will show fees in the first month and in the
next month the fee will be credited. Why don't u improve ur softwares that it
will come as Free. Why should seller wait for one long month to get the credit ?
In this way u are fetching fees from seller in the first month . That's
unjustice.




5. Feedback -- I know
u are improving ur feedback policies. Like motivating a new buyer or seller to
complete the tutorial before leaving feedback. That's an appreciatable step. But
I want feeback policy to be same as Baazee.com. As u know very well baazee
provides the feature of editing rating which Ebay doesn't have. I know everyone
agrees with me here to get that thing back. It was easier to resolve matters ---
Like I m narrating my case to you -- I sold a product to my buyer and
unfortunately I forgot to check it while dispatching. It had manufacturing
defect. The buyer gave me negative feedback immediately. Within 1 week I
replaced the product and on receipt of the product he changed his feedback from
negative to positive. Ebay is complicated in this manner as well as time
consuming. If that feature comes back then all this type of problems will be
solved much faster.




I know every seller
agrees with my suggestions / complaints . My co - sellers plz speak up for it.
Because together we will and we can make a difference and I m sure we can make
this Ebay.in same as Baazee.com. Ask for ur rights now.

Dear Mr. Bajaj,

People do not understand the rules about ebay. As other sellers can attest: When someone buys an item and then tries to bargain with you further, or when a buyer wins the item and says "I am sorry I bought another one", or when someone using a fake number, address, and city pulls the Nigeria Scam. I have been shafted by Nigerian Scamsters 4 TIMES! Ok so I get my FVF, but what about the fees to begin the auction? Why should i be responsible for those fees when the buyer has no responsibility? If it is a legal binding contract, then we as the seller should have a clear cut process to prosecute/recuperate our expenses. Verification of Buyers and Sellers should become mandatory for the protection of all.

Dear Avnish,

I'm only concerned with sales, the numbers are bad now a days, we have to put in a lot of effort too playing with ebay.in.

I came to know about baazee.com through TV, you should do that again for ebay.in, your theory of tapping the internet users is not working, everybody can see that.

The marketing guys say that users and traffic has increased, our counters on listings do not say so?????

Hello Sir,
I have been selling onE-Bay from 2 months, and have recieved,a lot of buyers purchasing my products but all of them want me to ship my good's to Nigeria ,Lagos and pay ia Bidpay.....Bid Pay does not exist ...All my fraud buyers have the same address where the good's have to be delivered and as we have their shipping address they will be waiting there to collect the good's so cant ebay some how manage to nab these good's....They are creating a rucus for us seller's....I have had fraude purchases done almost 25 times in the last 2 months...This has seriously discouraged me andmy friends from selling on ebay....
Why does ebay not tie up with fed-ex or blue dart etc,courier services and thus they can have fixed prices for sending good's from a metro city to any other state and also give different rates for different products....This will help e-bay relate with its customers...and give buyers and sellers confidence while sending good's....The courier people can even pic up good's from a sellers door step....That will help e-bay make it even sefer and o dameges will be done to the good's.....

I have been using baazee now ebay since 2002.Today I have received a mail from ebay about your interaction with the ebay users. Here I have found all of the letters written by sellers and they are complaining that the sale is decreasing.

I would like to mention few important poing from BUYERS PURSPECTIVE.

As a Management Professional I have discovered some important factors affecting the sale of ebay.


When A buyer would like to buy some tangible goods and services then he/she must be computer savy using ebay from home , office or cyber cafe.

Most of the goods are tangible.

The first and formost thing in online shopping(in case of Bid/buy) is GUARANTEED DELIVERY AFTER PAYMENT.


At the time of purchase buyer hasitate to buy the new product from online website because perceived risk is there.(Which is much more than in case of shopping from the local shop) Buyer is uncertain about the deliveries.

You must introduce few things

1) Guaranteed Delivery after Payment.
2) Puchase Protection for each and every purchase.
3) Shipping Insurance with every valuable products.
4) Valid Warranty(for new product)
5) Refund or Replace in case of Deffective/Damaged product
6) Dispute Console
7) Standard Shipping Charge
8) Seller Customercare Telephone Number

Here I would like to mention that your customer care is good for nothing. Recruit Trained Professional.

In most of the "buy now" products price of the product is much more than the market price plus Shipping and Insurance charge.

Another Amazing factor I have found that the price of the product is 1 to 100 Rupees But shipping cost is Rs 250 to Rs 500.

You have no control over your sellers. Use feedback and send payment to sellers only after the delivery of the product. On the otherside Buyer has to inform ebay through telephone\sms\mail\ebay.in site within 24 hours after the delivery of the product in a good shape that he/she has received the product.
