Regarding your question, live listing will remain live, however, re-listing will not be possible without making the changes. Hence, encourage you to make the changes well in advance.

Is PsP COD available all over India?
PsP COD covers most cities & towns. You need to check whether your pin code is serviceable or not before using this payment option.
This link will help you find out which locations are COD serviceable.

Approximately 80% of COD parcels reach within 4 days of shipment.
If the buyer is not available for 3 attempts, the item will Return To Origin (RTO) & will be sent back to the seller’s address in about 7 days.

In the initial phase, eBay shall absorb the cost of RTOs & the seller will not the charged anything in case of RTO.
My item is large in volume or heavy in weight, will I be charged a separate rate for shipping?
In the initial phase, eBay will not charge differential rates for shipping heavy weight items or on the basis of volumetric calculations. The rates will be as mentioned earlier @ 5% of value or Rs 125 whichever is higher.

The initiative is really good and without any doubt increase the sales and is worth for items valued > 2500 and for items weighing 1 kg.
But, one question is, is the buyer allowed to open the item and pay the price or he has to pay without opening the item.
If the buyer is allowed to open the item and pay, ther are more chances ofbuyer refusing the item and again the buyer/courier guy may not pack it in the expected way we do. this will further damage the item in return.

These courier cos are rogues. You tell them to pick up from me and they will call me up to their office. I scramble there spending 100 bucks in a taxi. Then they will say they dont ship stones and stamps. By the time I get back to you to complain, the buyer slaps a negative.
I am talking of DTDC.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

Well i hv been working with DTDC from last couple of years and never faced any of such issue infact i recommended using DTDC then Aramex, FirstFlight or XPS couriers.
I give about 400 shipments a month and they work for me smoothly via DTDC couriers. 1-2 case of damage are normal in bulk shipments.
Pickups are well arranged, they provide PINCODE list for service and non service.
Maybe in your case u r unlucky. 🙂
