The rates, T&C, and the system is applicable only for PaisaPay COD transaction and NOT for online payment modes.

(1) Yes, COD charges can be shown separately & it is your choice to absorb the amount or to charge reasonable extra COD shipping charges to the buyer.

Normally the COD shipment consists of 2 charges (1) Cash Management Charges which is on a % basis & you are right, for high value items you will have to pay higher cash management charges (2) Freight charges which is on a weight volume basis.

Hence a high value item would not be shipped at Rs 100 charges on COD. An item worth Rs 20k in your example

Besides, PaisaPay COD charges are inclusive of both the above.

By the way, the maximum amount that can be shipped on PaisaPay COD would not be more than Rs 8,000.

(2) Courier companies have to adhere to strict SLAs which will be shared on the site prior to launch.

(3) Buyers from non serviceable locations will not be allowed to purchase any item on PaisaPay COD. The system will automatically block them.

There is no separate 4% PaisaPay charges. over & above the 5%/Rs 125 PsP COD charges.

There will be a way to identiify PaisaPay COD listings

Buyers will also be able to search for PaisaPay COD listings from the search pages.

There is no need to mention it separately in your listings. However, you can add some information in your listing to educate / market it to the buyer.

As of now, eBay is facilitating shipping only for PaisaPay COD transactions.

Shipping for online payment transactions continue to be handled by sellers themselves.

If the parcel is RTO'ed, the courier company should take about 2-3 days to deliver the item back to the seller's location. Courier companies have agreed to a max limit of 7 days

Hi all..

I saw this message which say :
"Sellers should edit their listings before 5th August 2010 to remove the options of “Local COD” and “National COD” from their listings. Failure to do so will result on such listings getting blocked."

How will Turbo listor update itself? As i have bulk listing and depend upon TL with schedule listing.
And what does LISTING GETTING BLOCKED means?

The message you saw refers to Local & National COD. These methods will cease to exist from 5th August as Flat Rate COD will be available all over India via PaisaPay COD.

Sellers will need to change any listings havinng Local / National COD to Flat Rate COD.

Listings getting blocked means that any new listings / re-listings having Local / National COD will not go live on the site from 5th August.

Turbo Lister will be updated.

There is also another tool which will be announced in a couple of days which will simplify Bulk Editing & Relisting for sellers

Actually i meant to say.
Like till 4th i have Live 1000 listing over ebay with Local & National COD. Which is right now too..
But on 5th what about all live listings?
Alright new listing with Local & National COD will not be allowed to list on and from 5th. Hope before that TL gets updated. As sellers like me with bulk list might be using TL.
