Dear eBay India team and all eBay users ,
I had ordered a mop hie juice pack for iPhone 4S from eBay thru seller . The piece was supplied immediately but was a damaged piece .I called the seller immediately as eBay has mentioned on the order form to contact seller if required.the seller heard me and told me that I'll get a call the next day from his office on a solution. But for next 24 hrs he didn't take my calls and I filed a claim with eBay.I called the customer service after a wait of 45 mins and 5 attempts.They had no solution and mentioned that the seller hasn't yet reverted on their claim.i again called the seller ten times post which I get a message to contact his father . The father told me to wait till Monday as his son is in china but that Monday never came and nor did eBay revert. I again called eBay customer service after 3 attempts and a wait of 38 mins . I was told that some. Nilofer is looking into my case and will call me in next 24 hrs but it's 4 days and I haven't got any call her yet.eBay then sends me a mail to ship the damaged piece within 72 hrs on a sat else the claim would be refused.Its 3 days since I've shipped the item and the seller has confirmed receiving it , but no solution yet and eBay says it will take 20 days for a solution as seller has not given any solution.i again call the seller Himanshu who finally was back yesterday and threatened me to try taking a refund from eBay as I questioned on his product and the service . As per him they can't provide any solution and it's not mandatory for him to reply to my call or even receive my calls .he even said that a cc on mail to him doesnt require him to reply .on telling both seller and eBay that I will forced to take this issue to customer form , both have asked me to do what I feel like.the eBay customer service too was rude and couldn't provide any solution. Basically my money and the piece is with eBay and seller and both refuse to revert .

You are right. This is the same experience i've faced with . All of you who are purchasing form ebay be very carefull. ebay will just put their hands up telling you need to work with the seller and the seller does not accept calls.
I brought a LG bluetooth headset from the seller and he sent the set promptly. The packaging was damaged and when i open the piece it is not the model that i had asked for. I diligently sent this back to the seller as he agreed to refund the money.
As ebay keeps prophesizing, where you go for filing the claim, if we have spoken to the seller directly for sorting the problem or not. Thinking, ebay expects us customers to do so, i went ahead and gladly started talking to the seller and he gladly agreed to refund once he gets the product back. I sent it back and post that he just does not accept calls and ebay says, now they cannot help.
Now i have lost the money and also the product.
Is there a option for us to take these guys to the consumer court?.

Yes we should take them to the consumer court as they feel they can get away with it. Specially this seller who threatened me saying ab apna refund Lekar batao..... How can eBay have such a seller on board... Even today I just got a reply on twitter that they will look into and revert but not one call from anyone yet ......should say that eBay has no intent to do so.

Its a week and still no one from ebay India team or seller has bothered to communicate a solution to me.All i ve got in reply is we shall revrt soon....Is thhis whayt ebay india is built on ....Poor customer service, scam sellers and least bothered board team.....
