eBay India is in constant communication with PayPal to keep you updated on the progress in resolving this issue.
As mentioned by Farhad Irani from PayPal in his blog post, PayPal is working with the Reserve Bank of India and is hoping to allow merchant customers to withdraw funds from local banks soon, but unfortunately this is taking longer than expected.
PayPal continues to offer the facility to request a cheque, which you can receive in in 2 to 3 weeks time. Due to the inconvenience caused due to the current issue, the normal 5 USD fee for using this facility will be refunded to you. You can request a cheque from the Withdraw Money tab of your PayPal account.
Please note, eBay India’s PaisaPay remittances continue to be unaffected by this issue.
We realize that this is a difficult time for our sellers who sell internationally and ask you to bear with us. Please continue to list on eBay while we assist PayPal in resolving this problem quickly.
For any assistance/clarifications, please do reach out to your Account Managers/Category Managers. You may also post your queries here or e-mail me at sushant@ebay.com.
Regards,
Sushant

After an "An Open Letter from Farhad Irani on the Situation in India' on 16th Feb, we have not received any updation, other than some canned responses. Some one in the authorities at least keep us posted about the proceedings. We are here to run the business. Thousands of sellers are badly affected and still there is no news, from anyone.
This is my sincere request to Ebay staff on behalf of every seller in India, to provide us with some news.

I understand the challenges you are facing with working capital for your business and with shipping orders to your buyers. Rest assured, we (eBay India) are working closely with the PayPal team in resolving this at the earliest. At this point of time, I don't have anything more to share but will definitely be doing so as soon as we have any updates.
I would advise you all to continue to tap into foreign buyer demand and continue listing your items to this engaged audience. Do reach out to your category managers or me for any more assistance.
Regards,
Sushant

You need a balance in your PAYPAL account to request a cheque from them !! My balance has disappeared .... not showing up in either PAYPAL or my bank account ?? Have tried to contact Navin Mistry and Nisha Singh about this issue and gotten no concrete answer from either of them.
Another issue is with a 2 month old credit card withdrawal from PAYPAL which has not yet showed up in my credit card statements ?? What is going on here ......
Please treat these issues as urgent,
Best regards,
Adit999.
