On Oct 4 i purchased an item from ebay using the Dasara promotion code for 1 TB HDD. Till today i havent received the the HDD Gift.

This is a normal reply from eBay. Don't expect more. I'm yet to receive my Summer Promo 2012 Gift. It has been more than 60 working days since I claimed it.

Participated in just one promotion, and I had enough.
eBay is really bad at organizing such promotions. This forum and the Facebook page mostly have complaints about gifts. Call it Summer Promo, Monsoon promo, Dushera, or the latest Diwali Dhamaka, when you purchase items and ask for your free gift, all you get is a fake smile. 🙂

These schemes are fake. Even I purchased under Dussehra scheme. They never reply.
