DTDC guys ripped the packet,Stole the earphone inside lynx-india sent again

Hi all
I ordered an soundmagic PL-30 earphone on 24/11/2010 [on Ebay.in and the seller is lynx-india Chandigarh ],

The seller shipped the box to my office address in kolkata through DTDC [Z24943970]

On 1/12/2010 around 1-30 pm the parcel was received by my office mail room , in all faith to DTDC they did not open the packet in front of the delivery guy ,
When they handed me over the box I opened it and only to find that the BOX and the casing is there but the earphone and the ear foams [buds] are care fully removed from the packed to deliver an empty box only.

I found very hard to convince the seller that I actually received an empty box , he was very right in suggesting that we should have opened the box before the taking the delivery.

I enquired my office mail room they said - "we receive many deliveries from the DTDC " and this kind of incident is very rare. So I don't blame the mail room for having trust on DTDC.

I called up DTDC dtdc kolkata 033 23351581
Got redirected to 033 25005406

Then to dtdc chadigarh 0172 3079416

And finally called 0172 3062761 to enquire , The lady who picked up the call took my mobile no and assured to call back within an hour , but she never called back , Phone kept ringing when I called back

I ordered and enquiry to DTDC through mail and phone . But no one cares to reply. Perhaps they are playing the waiting game . So do not trust these cheats. Always open the box in front of the delivery guy . This is the mistake I have done .

The seller finally had some belief [although the first day he said "enjoy the free earphone"] on me and finally agreed to resend the shipment through DTDC -Z24943907
[again!!] This time I opened the packet in front of them and got it all fine .

In all this was a horrible experience of e-shopping for me .

I have booked one Samsung Galaxy S GT Black I9003 (Midnight Black) mobile from LetsBuy.com shipped on 06 Feb 2012.
The product reached their local office in the

Rishikesh(which is the destination place) on very next day, but courier company DTDC not delivered it on my door step..they called me and said that this shipment is quite expensive so its better that someone from my place should collect it from their office.So i send my father to collect the shipment. when we taken the shipment and opened it we got shocked that there is no mobile no invoice inside the box there is only box filled up with 2 Fena Detergent Cake soap. when we went their in their office they accept ed that consignment was tempered as it came from Letsbuy.com and said that they will raised this matter to higher concern but later refused with tampering. Person said he is sending email immediately.
but very next day when i went in their office and ask about the update they said mail already been sent when i asked about that you should give mail Cc to me then they have to accept that mail still not been sent(and they are start to make some lame excuses that electricity was not there and so on).
So, People this is my advice to you never take DTDC courier service otherwise 100% chance that you will be in situation like me.
No bill and invoice was also not present in the bill so its rarely impossible to find that mobile.

People they are cheater no 1, never go for their services. Please it is my humble request.

This is scary, i just sold my iPad2. I was thinking to send it via DTDC but after reading this, I am having second thoughts. Even though it might cost a bit more, I am actually planning to send it through bluedart.

DTDC expert in delivering our parcel to wrong address. and I am another victim of DTDC inefficiency.

Sellers kindly don't use DTDC for your own good.

I have decided to check whether the dispatch is via DTDC, if so then I will surely not order that item.

Although I had not experient this kind of flaw in the service of my DTDC courier, but I can't say about other DTDC courier. This is scary. I never been caring to opened my parcel infront of the courier, but these type of incidences make you realized how vulnerable your valuables are. Feel sorry for all the victims, but at the same thanks you for alerting. A lesson deserved to be learned.
