Selling paintings through ebay - information required

i am an amateur artist and have some paintings with me which i wud like to sell?
Could some one let me know what all i shud take care of before putting a painting for sale. I heard that insurance and all might be necessary... also how you can ensure that teh same reaches there safely while sending.. etc.

Hi

The first thing is to create a good listing with good description and pictures.

To ensure your paintings reach safely you need to pack it properly with good packing material. Also use a good courier. Insurance may be required if you paintings are expensive. Some couriers offer insurance too. You can offer insurance as optional.

Please look into "Completed Listings". If I am not incorrect, there are not much of buyers for Paintings in ebay-India. It may turn out to be a waste of time. If anybody else have contrary openion, pl respond.
