Item Significantly not as described dispute

Hello Everyone.
Last month I had very bad Experience from one buyer.
I sent her saree exactly as listed by dispatching it myself.
Client refuse to receive parcel from courier service and mail me that see need refund because Item not what see order (How see know without accepting item?) and open Item Significantly not as described dispute. She also threaten me with negative feedback. She even refuse to pay courier charge. I dont know what to do and so I made refund to buyer.
Somebody tell me please what would happened if I didnt refund to buyer?

WELL!! may be ebay would have investegated the issue and thn wouls have given their final turn in your favour!!!

Not Sure..but i am do afaraid now tht wht would i do if smthin like tht happen to me!!:-(..really soory 2 you though..bestaluck 4 future!!

but buyer literally blackmailed me and I have gone thru lose of 4000/- INR just for sake of reputation and without no fault of mine.
I dont exactly understand what ebay's policy on these issue.

Dear Friend,

These are the perils of selling internationally on ebaY. These are very difficult waters you are fishing in.

ebaY and PayPal expects you to prove delivery to the buyers residence / office.

Since you cannot prove delivery (consignment refused), you have no option to refund.

Even if you complain to ebaY, no one will listen.

So modify you international selling business model to accomadate such unforseen expenses.

Many a times your parcels will be held by customs and you will have to bear the import duty also. So factor this too in your business model.

Let me assure you that if you have the correct products, they will sell even after factoring all these costs.

As you sell more, you will get more experience in dealing with these type of buyers.
