Hello All,

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with the buyer! I do hope it gets resolved soon. Here is some information on ODR India that you may find useful.

As you might know, ODR India is a 3rd party Dispute Resolution where you can file your eBay disputes in case you and your buyer are not able to come to a mutual consent. In such cases, ODR plays mediator and closes the dispute in favour of buyer or seller. eBay treats this decision as a proof to close dispute cases.

For the benefit of the larger group, I am posting the steps to file a case with ODR India-

1. Get the email ID of the other party (the party against whom they wish to file the dispute).(link to get email address)
2. Pay your ODR fees and inform the ODR team at odr_payment@odrindia.com of the amount paid, bank transaction reference and the number of Assisted Negotiation or Mediation cases you wish to file. Please also include your eBay user ID, the name or account from which the amount has been paid and any other transaction details, if any.
3. Upon confirmation of receipt of fees, you will receive an email from ODR INDIA requesting you to proceed with the filing of the case(s) and directing you on how to file a case. Detailed steps are mentioned here- https://www.odrindia.com/process_flow.php

Thank you again for your valuable suggestions !

But let me tell you I sent an email confirming with the buyer if the second item purchased was unintentional or a mistake, she did not reply to those emails at all. In such a case, what could have I done ?

Secondly, I have also offered the buyer that I shall remove the UPI Strike and she in lieu of this would withdraw the feedback. But again she's least bothered. How to handle such things ? I dont mind apologizing for my mistakes, because I myself believe in customer satisfaction and I always think that had I been the buyer, I might have done the same thing.

And lastly, regarding the personal information thing, I surely apologize to all the community members and ebay staff for that. And kindly request the ebay pinks to remove the post.

Well, I have already filed a case and I am hoping that it gets resolved soon. Although, its been 2-3 days since I did this but havent seen any progress in the matter.

I don't know how you made the issue complicated. Please make things simple. One big secret is don't make any buyer guilt of any mistake, that's were things are getting complicated. Communicate with them politely.

Please see the following communication for the same case. I don't know for what reason, but customer doesn't want to cancel the second purchase. So i have to wait... but I don't mind.

Thanks for shopping with us and the payment. Sorry to inform you that, there are two similar items purchased and one paid. In case if this item is purchased by mistake let us know, we can ask eBay to cancel the order. Please accept and say "Yes", your order will be canceled and you will be free from the purchase.

Thanks for the message. It is OK you can take decision after you receive the item. We don't mistake any customer.

If you don't like to pay for this, please cancel later. Otherwise eBay will charge us fees for this purchase even if you don't pay. That's the reason. Every customer has to pay or cancel the order.

Anyways, the feeback was finally withdrawn by ebay itself. As the buyer was suspended and is no longer registered here.

The feeback was withdrawn by ebay as the buyer was suspended and is no longer registered on ebay.

But could anyone tell me what if the buyer is active again on ebay (thats only in case the buyer is suspended temporarily) ? Will it reflect the feedback again ??

And now when I have refunded her back, she's not sending my items back. Nor responding to my emails, nothing !!

What to do with such headache buyers ?

I can answer the first part of your question:

If a buyer is temporarily suspended from the site, the feedback left by the buyer will not be removed by eBay. Since the feedback is removed, it means that the buyer has been permanently suspended.

Hello,

Meenu, good to know your feedback is withdrawn.

You have again made a mistake by refunding money before returning the goods.

My understanding about this case is, it is totally not handled properly from the beginning including unpaid strike against a paid customer. ODR India also takes responsibility to return the goods if refunded i am curious to know ?.

I don't know what was the conversation went wrong between you and customer. But one think i understand is should have avoided unpaid strike and opened a dispute to cancel the order and explained the customer how they purchased two item mistakenly.

If the customer honest she will return your goods. Goodluck again.
