Different delivery time period for some sellers--Why the discrimination ?

I will post this query in two parts:

Part one is:-

What is the delivery time period given to sellers after the material has been dispatched from their end ?.

The obvious answer is 10 days time during which the material should reach the buyer.

Am I right or not ?, I would like to know from fellow sellers.

After that I will post part two of this query.

There is no option for the seller to select or decide the delivery time period. It is fixed that is 10 days from the date of dispatch of the product.

Hi All,

First of all, please allow me to reiterate that eBay does not give prefrential treatment to any seller for any reason whatsoever. Also, the delivery timeline for all items sold on eBay India is 10 days.

Seller in all categories (including furniture) need to deliver the items within 10 days of dispatch. However, for special services started by eBay, like Global EasyBuy, Packing material etc, we required different category and different timelines for both practical and admin reasons.

The items ids you are reffering to are that of eBay packing material. These and GEB items are the ones where you will see delivery timelines as 15 days.
