Change Feedback Revision Rule !!

Hello Everyone,
As eBay India and its users grow , I feel the sellers on eBay have now become professional and are serving their buyers well .

Ideally there will be cases when the seller is not able to meet buyers requirement and for which the sellers have recd negative rating . Though ratings can be revised via community court , if the seller is able to satify the buyers concerns , I think eBay should give the buyer the oppurtunity to positive .

Currently only 5 revision are allowed in 1000 feedbacks , this should change

I feel the seller should get the oppurtunity to ask the buyer for feedback revision for every negative or neutral feedback he receives ...

I agree with you. 5 feedback revision for every 1000 is very less. IT should be atleast 5 for every 100.

i also think ebay team needs to recheck this.

See previous postings on the same matter, this matter has been discussed 100's of times before but ebay has done nothing about it.

Another reason is that there is no unity among sellers, they only come to the forum when they are in trouble but they do not help when other sellers are in trouble or some good issue is raised there is no input or feedback from them at all.

Ebay sees this as a weakness among sellers and no real push is given to important matters as not enough sellers respond to it and hence the issue remains as it is. *************************

I totally agree that 5 revision per 1000 feedback is ridiculous to say the least. Why put a limit, if buyer and seller can sort out the differences themselves. This can only lead to a betterment in relations within the community.

However we must agree thst the community court is doing a very good job of removing unjustified negative feebacks from buyers.

I have a thing against buyers who leave negative without even contacting once. Negative Feedback is like a bullet, it can kill you and also it will never come back if once fired. And 5 revisions per 1000 transaction(not items, again a disadvantage) are like sending a soldier to a war with only 5 bandages . Sellers have nothing to save themselves from frivolous buyers.

Shouldn't E-Bay make it mandatory for buyers leaving -ives to first contact seller and that apply for a negative feedback. I dont think there are thousands of negative feedbacks being given daily. So any negative feedback must get approval from an eBay team only than posted.

Also Majority of the sales comes from the new buyers who are shopping for the first time. And with little knowledge of feedbacks and DSR's they have It's like putting AK 47's in their hand and telling them to shoot bull's eye with it.There should be some criteria for leaving negatives and low DSR's.

I have already posted it in some other thread but felt this to be a good place for those comments.
