Hello,
Lets Learn from each other's expertise.
I am starting this thread where contributions from everybody is expected.
May it be the Champions of Baazee ERA OR the New Comers.
Helpful ebay Staff members too are requested to show their presence.
The purpose of this thread is to put forward your expertise / knowledge which you think would be helpful to other members.
It may be Tips .....which may help in Selling better.
It may be pointing out..... the best Courier Company for National Selling.
It may be the best email service available.
It may be something related to Computers, Windows, Anti-virus, Ad-ware, spy-ware.
It may be something which others shouldn't do .....unknowingly.
Anything which you think would be helpful to others.
Just don't think that a particular TIP is quite common ....there may be someone who might be benefitted out of that.
MY CONTRIBUTION
I am giving you a small TIP ......many of you must be aware of this. But I still feel that there may be few who are un-aware of this.....
For All those who are using Windows XP and find that the system takes too long to BOOT UP.
Also, when you shut down ....the system takes time.
This may be due to many Items place in the start up.
That is..... many icons placed at the right hand bottom........ near the clock.
Icons of skype, Blinking net connection, webshots, Anti-virus, Bit meter, fax, MSN messanger...etc etc..
This slows down the machine quite a lot.
There may be many, who have higher configuration with higher RAM, but still the TIP may be useful.
Just HIBERNATE the system while closing.
For this.... Click start
Click...Turn off Computer.
Press SHIFT.
The Standby button would change to Hibernate.
Keeping the shift pressed ...left click HIBERNATE.
This will save your current desktop state to your hard disk so that you can resume where you left off, than shuts down your computer.
HOPING TO SEE MORE TIPS ON THIS THREAD.
regards
IndConcepts

Hello,
If you don't want the Item then don't wait for the UPI strike.
Better would be to request the Seller to cancel the deal mutually.
I am sure he would oblidge.
If you get 2 UPI strike in the last 30 days then most of the Sellers would block you and you may not be able to make any purchases for the next 30 days or so from them.

Hello,
Yes ... you have a valid point but ebay India is at a nascent stage and most of the Buyers & Sellers are still in the learning stage.
In ebay USA most to the buyers have awareness and they pay you after they commit to buy.
I hope Indians would also learn at a faster pace.
regards

You are absolutely right. They have deducted that from PP a/c.Now it is showing minus balance because credit card payment of a valued buyer has been rejected, dont know why.But they are not showing the money Rs 1850 I sent by draft also.I have written to the CS about that.Let me wait.Or I may have to write to PKay,the most efficient eBay pink.Thanx very much.We felt your long absense. But its okay.Community board without U is unimaginable.,
Truly,
Amitava

Sincere & hard working members, like you, are also contributing much to the Community.
We understand the limitation of ebay in responding efficiently to millions of users .....but half of the problems, Community can solve itself by interacting with each other and by learning through each other's expertise.

Please tell me if I am wrong. PaisaPay payment of my best and repeat buyer(Indian buyer) got rejected. Ebay told me to use other method of payment. Now it is not possible that he was not having money in his a/c. It is not possible that he was using false cc. He was disturbed. It is possible that bank's gateway was not working.
So I told him to pay by PaisaPay again. Isnt it my duty to encourage buyers to opt for PaisaPay? I ask foreign buyers also to use PaisaPay instead of PayPal.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

Hello,
One feels low when such things happen to your best buyers. Its great to know that you have tackled the issue well.
How difficult it is to maintain a good buyer's base and things like this, do trouble us more.
I remember how efficiently you tackled a Buyer who gave you an un-justified feedback.
Keep up your good work and contribute your expertise..... back to the Community.... so that more and more people can learn the art of selling, on ebay.
We all will grow well .... if the Community grows well.
best regards

I would like to congratulate you on growing your business to this extent and that too with 100% buyer satisfactin and that too in such short a period. It quite an achievement. Hats off to you.
The fact the you have 80% repeat buyers is a tribute to your products and your customer relations.
I have a small suggestion to make to help you grow your business even further.
You should now invest in a good camera and learn to take better photographs. This would really improve your sales.
If you need any photography tips, do let me know and I will be glad to help you out.
