I have a few doubts related to the shipments made from the Post Office and I would appreciate your responses for this:
1. While sending the items via Registered Airmail, the online tracking facility is not available. But is it possible to trace the shipment by giving an application to the post office and will they provide the response about the location of the item?
2. If the item is lost, will the post office let us know this?
3. If the item is held up in Customs Department, will the post office be able to inform this to us?
4. What if the Customs Declaration form is removed by some prank playing postal employee before it reaches to the destination country? Is the postal department responsible if the Customs Declaration form is removed by them? Does is get checked at Mumbai Customs Office?
