I bought Item numbers: 260701843602 and 200550632819 on 5th December. I paid through HDFC net banking. The status of the order is "PAYMENT IN PROCESS" even now.
The paisa pay website says that the order will be processed in 24 hours. Well it has been 4 days!! 4 whole days and no update what so ever!!
Oh.. I tried calling their "Customer Support" (the name should be "clueless dungeon").They politely said on 7th that it might take 2 days some times. I called on 8th; they registered a complaint and said it will be done in another day. I did call on 9th (today) and they were pretty rude and said, it takes 48hrs from the date of registering the complaint!!
I am not sure I ll get the status tomorrow. Oh.. they also cleverly told me that if it isn't processed by tomorrow, they would "ESCALATE" the issue!! Are you kidding me??
The bank pays -> You acknowledge the payment is received and tell the seller to ship the item!! If they can't do this.. they are not worth being the EBay’s partner!!
Paisa pay is in fact useless!! They won't even tell me why it is taking time!! When asked why, they say "It is a known issue" . Then why don't they mention this "known issue" before taking money from the buyer??
I am frustrated and helpless!! Money was debited, God knows where it is and I din't get my product in time!!
Oh.. and adding to the flavor: THIS IS MY FIRST EBAY TRANSACTION!!!

If HDFC net banking is slow, then all the transations should be slowed.. Only my EBay transaction are stalled! I bought a lot of items through net banking and everything was processed instantly! So NO.. I dont believe it is HDFC's fault!

I never said that HDFC Bank Internet Banking is slow. I said Credit Card & Debit Card transactions are slow. I fully agree with you that it may be eBay's fault since you had no problems with other site.

EBay is actind very irresponsible!
I never expected this from EBay. I am very disappointed.
Not satisfied by their service and customer support.

Last week, it took one week to PaisaPay to process an order.
Earlier, it used to settle in 1-2 days only.
Also, we are not accepting any payment methods apart from PaisaPay just to avoid non-payment cases but still we get orders through PaisaPay without any payments.
We then again send invoices buyers to make payments or start the process of credit filing ultimately.

So if the issue is only with Credit Cards then why sales are so slow...there has been no sale in the last week ! This is so unusual !
There must be something wrong with the other payment methods as well...

I honestly do not care what this paisapay team is doing. I paid money. I want my product.
How long can it take to "process" a transaction. It was escalated 4 times. Everyday I was promised it will be processed. Next day morning I check and nothing!! It is really pissing me off!!

Finally.. after many calls, Emails and chats to the customer care, my payment was approved and the status changed to "To be shipped".
My sincere appeal to the EBay team is:
> Inform the buyer before he buys stuff, if there is going to be a delay. Then, the buyer can make an informed decision.
> If the delay happens due to some "global" and "unforeseen" reasons like this one, Call the Customer and explain him of the delay. Don't make the customer call you. That is a better way of doing business.
You try so hard and make the "EBay promise" to the customers. Why can't you take up responsibility for any delays from your side and CALL THE CUSTOMER and explain the issue. This way, the customer is happy and you get your reputation.
