This seller has sold more than 2.5 lacs worth items in just 3 days between 30Dec.05 & 1- Jan. 06. The items have been sold at down to earth prices - even Gold items at one-fourth the market Price or lesser (on weight basis). Its too early to come to any conclusion whether he is fraud or not. But as per your mail it seems more that this nitin_100 can turn out to be a fraud with good planning, operating to cheat new unsuspecting buyers.
I hope ebay will take up this matter immediately and enquire bout the authenticity of the seller. As the seller is registered in W.B. so after giving due notice to him, ebay can file an online complain report at http://www.cidwestbengal.gov.in/crime/report-cirme.asp
I can assure you that some of the police officers investigating those crimes for such online reporting on this site are very active.
By the way, as a buyer, you can just wait a bit more for the item or some communication from the seller. Then you can file a Dispute with eBay as Item Not Recd. If its not resolved by the seller then you can claim refund from ebay. You are likely to get back the bid amount less Rs.50 (excluding the shipping / draft charges paid by you) subjected to max. Rs.9950. eBay supports max. 3 claims within 6 months. So you can get max. refund of Rs. 23333 against the 3 payments. Its a pity that in case this really turns out to be a fraud then you will loose Rs.12250 for no fault of yours.
You should have been careful for such new seller who has sold only low value items and may have tried only one item at a time. Hope for the best.

eBay please get rid of this Shakhawat Hossain. Either eBay or arun_1000 must file a complain of cheating against this Shakhawat Hossain with the police. Please take some stern measure. After all, other members can't make a complain without the payment details which are with the bidder & eBay. I am very disappointed that no body from eBay has replied to this thread or any of those with similar subject. ๐ Just de-registering a member can never be enough. Please report the matter to police and put that message in the thread . Do something concrete so that the frauds get a message that this is not an easy cheating arena. Please do not remain silent. After all you also have to pay all the refunds against those frauds. May be you consider those insignificant considering your gross business but if such things continue then some day you may increase the charges which will affect us all - but then your business will also decrease. I am really disappointed for not seeing a single reply from your end for such a big fraud.
