I ordered the below mentioned item on 11/09/2015 and recieved it after multiple follow ups with the seller on 02/10/2015, way beyond the promised 14 days delivery time -

Seconfly, this item was purchased from Amazon site by the seller and then sent to me, eBay/seller does not have this item in their stock to be readily delivered, which explains the slow delivery. Therefore, I had ignored this part.
But, the manual of this item CLEARLY mentions that if the mobile phone camera function is opened and the volume (+) key on this item is pressed twice, it can take photo from mobile camera (screenshot attached). But this function is not working with my Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100. I checked by changing default image storage location from SD card to memory card and changed all settings in the camera function of my phone, but it was no use. I tried to connect with the seller for 2 weeks and finally they responed that I should contact eBay since it is not their lookout.
Yestersay, I got a call from eBay customer care (Phone number: +91 22 613 22 300) asking me whether I left a feedback for this item. I mentioned this problem to the customer care executive, but he replied saying that this function is listed on the advertisement page of this item, so eBay cannot do anything in this case.
So now my question is, shouldn't eBay cverify with the seller that they deliver the items in promised time frame and make sure all the features mentioned for an item in its manual are working as expected? Whom should I hold responsible for this issue?
I was reluctant to purchase it due to bad reviews of eBay India from other users, but since Amazon had no shipping option at my location, I forcefully had to purchase it from eBay, and now I'm repentimg it. This could very well be my first and the last purchase from eBay India. posted this to make other users aware of such issues, so BEWARE...
