I purchased an item in the first week of Sep 2014. Communication with seller was fine, transaction was quick and secure. Seller shipped in time but eBay handed it over to a big fraud courier company named DotZot (DTDC). The contact number they provided, never picked up the call. I mailed them twice but there was an autogenerated reply saying we'll solve the matter in two business days. NOBODY called me back to provide the information. They never updated tracking details on their website. I was told it was their EXPRESS service.
I contacted eBay three times but also they never provided any satisfactory answer, their only answer was that they are in touch with the courier company.
After all my efforts were wasted, I filed a complaint in consumer forum against DotZot. Then the action started, I got call from DotZot and they began to update tracking on their website. After 7 days of my complaint I received the parcel in the middle of October 2014.
It gave me a lesson to never use DTDC or DotZot in any case. I am also hugely disappointed by eBay for never calling me back or replying about the status of my parcel. I am an occasional user of eBay but hopefully it was my last shopping with them.
