eBay Extortionfor Express Remittance if we dont use their shipping service

I received an email which came as shocker to me.
eBay has made it mandatory to use their shipping service if sellers want express remittance.
This is a direct Blackmail.
We have our systems in place for last 30 years and the shipping service our company uses has much better service and at half the price than what eBay power ship is offering.
Why should i pay double to get the items delivered to my buyers when i can do it more efficiently without eBay's help.
I request ebay to stick to their core business and not venture into areas which are anti sellers.
The above statements are as seller.

I am also a buyer on ebay and have experience the worst manipulations in the powership program.
recently i had bought some items which the seller shipped using powership. The items were not delivered for a week. And you cannot hold seller responsible for the same as he used "eBay" shipping method.
for 3-4 days i kept getting messages on mail and phone that courier company tried to deliver and no one was available, which was unbelievable.
Finally i myself had to take an off from work to see what is happening.
All day i waited without any delivery and in the evening again i got the same message from ebay stating courier company tried to deliver but no one was available.
When i investigated the case further courier company informed that they deliver or not they have to keep updating the status. And this case they were updating a false one.
when i contacted them asking if i could collect the item myself, i was told to get a letter from eaby if you want a personal collection.
If ebay would not have been involved in this the item would have been collected or delivered much easily avoiding all the nuisance.
again I would like to appeal to ebay.in to do what they do best and stop venturing into fields which they are still unaware of.

Or atleast not force ebay sellers to use their service by blackmailing to withdraw express remittance.

I am totally agree with you. I have made payment for one product on 6th March which was not delivered by Bluedart till 25th March. I was only getting massages that time that delivery delayed.

One more e.g. eBay has sent me packaging material to join powership on 7th march using same Bluedart courier docket number is 50215721371

But those fool Bluedart guys updated status on site that "Cnee'S Add Incorrect
Contact Customer Service"

Till date I have not received any call or any update on the above mentioned shipment. Which clearly shows that after providing such rates how Bluedart offering service to eBay customers.

I think once again eBay has to think before applying this policy as if will affect seller business.

for me the same , bought some good from ebay recently , the seller shipped next day through Aramex , got delivered after 2 weeks.

In these 2 weeks , i also got emails and sms saying , we have tried delivering your items but found house locked.

I sit whole day at this address and sell on ebay NONE CALLED OR NONE CAME TO MY ADDRESS.

I thought opting for power ship, but what i went through myself through other sellers, I WILL NEVER OPT for ebay's powership program.
