ebay should allow users to apply coupons on promoted items because if the coupons are not applied, the promoted items here cost as much, if not more, as the items on amazon, flipkart or snapdeal.
i suggest you to take this into consideration because i am considering buying a laptop and the price here after discount is almost similar to that of other ecommerce sites. this gives the buyer no solid reason to stick to ebay.
i myself have been searching for different coupons from 4 straight days that will make it a sweet deal and after browsing through and applying 100s of them, i found out from the customer care that no coupon can be applied on promotional item, deal of the week etc.(even those coupons especailly made for gadgets, when there is no where written in the t&c that the code is not applicable on promoted items). say for eg, hdfcelect1, it is not mentioned that it cannot be applied to promoted items but still i cant use it.
i hope that before diwali you will make it happen as it is the best occasion to test your mettle in the ecommerce market and lure more buyers.
