Wrong weight assigned to shipments in Powership program

I am into Powership and whenever I print shipping labels and order form, the weight is showing as 5.0 kgs. The weight of the items is hardly 100-200 gms maximum. As a result, courier companies (Bluedart, DTDC) putting in wrong weights.

Can anybody from Ebay team help me to resolve the problem?

This issue is there with some categories where ebay has fixed standard weight as 5 kgs. For Eg : kitchen and bar, air conditioners etc. Hence some couriers are charging standard weight instead of actual weight. Now a coffee mug which comes under tea and coffee sub category under kitchen and bar category is also charged at 5 kg, whereas the actual weight may not be more than 100 grams. This matter has been reported by me to the power ship team. I am sure they are looking into the issue and the matter will be resolved soon.

Thanks for replying. I am selling under kitchen and bar. Hoping to get a quick resolution.

Instead of 5000 gms, bluedart has now started to charge 1000 gms for all the kitchenware items while the weights are 200 gms max.

Am totally confused.
