Worst policy by ebay and worst customer service

I bought a laptop adapter and received it on may 2. the same day i called ebay and informed that the adapter was missing ie empty package so the executive told me that he has filed a claim and the claim department will call me within 5 days, after 10 days i got a call from claim department saying that i have to send pictures of the empty package.. I told them that its been 10 days and i have disposed the package. He said that he needs proof to investigate.
Who the hell keeps a empty package in his home for 10 days.. And more over the executive whom i spoke to at the first time never told me to keep the package with me.. So if you guys never told me to keep the package so why shoukd i keep.. Ebay shoukd have informed to keep the pacakage or send the pictures at the very first time. Not telling after 10 days.
The claim department told that they cannot do anything and they have to close the claim.
They need proof! Dont you trust your customers? Pathetic customer service and yeah ebay is worst ecommerce website in india.
I paid the money for my order and never got the refund or the item. Fraud company.
