What do i do..???

i recently won a bid for a nOkia N 91.. from a new seller. on wanting to make the payment, i notice that the seller address / tel number is not provided .. all i get is just this information that is sellers name, and address being Mumbai. Paisapay is also not available...

i have apprehensions paying 30,000 by cheque or DD.. since purchase prteoction available is just 10,000/- so i wrote to customer care and this is what they said

Its really sad that people with incomplete address are allowed to register on Ebay. Also it is better to buy costly items from an established seller with better feedback. If you send payment to a seller like this you may end up losing your money. =============

Hello,

You must have got the email from ebay on winning the Item.

This Item would contain the Seller's address.

If the address in incomplete then you may get the CONTACT INFORMATION .

I hope you know how to immidiately get the phone number of the Seller in your mail inbox.

Then contact the Seller over phone.

But if you find the telephone number is incorrect then report the Seller. He would be immidiately suspended.

Try getting a pickup if you are from Mumbai.

The seller is with just 1 ratign and the price you have won it .. i done beleive the seller currently can provide at thsi rate.

Soon the product will be officially available at Rs 32000 (or even less) with bill and warranty.

I guess its worth waiting for around a week.

Its nice to know that you are a genuinely interested buyer and i saw you bidding on some on my products few days back. Unfortunately we couldnt crack a deal.

hi Umang...the address that i have given in the posting..is the only address available..telephone number / mobile number / and detailed address is missing. however ebay wants me to pay 30,000 by cheque for a purchase protection of 10,000. if the seller plays up, i lose 20,000. ebay gets the fees..and the seller gains 30,000!

tech chase.... i normally buy from sellers that i am familiar with.../ have had previous sales / purchases or one with 25+ ratings... however some sellers with even 500+ ratings get suspended and we tend to lose money!

Hi,

Few days back, I made an order at eBay and checked the seller's address. But only the Name of the Seller and PINCODE was found.

Then I went to Find Contact Information and got the phone numbers and other details.

This doesn't mean that seller is not geunine. Some doesn't update their contact information unintentionally. ---------------
