Dear Sir,

I am writing this after a sincere frustration in dealings with ebay.in.

I was duped by a seller sellign cell phones. It was 15850 Rs which i paid through paisa pay. Now paisa pay says that they cover 50,000 Rs buyer protection. Well that i believe is a story.

This seller was not answering my calls and so i filed a item not received against him. Remember you have to close this dispute within 90 days after you file it. If does not get closed your money will not be given back.

What so ever is the case soemone contacted from ebay and asked me to send the proof through fax which i did faxed the very day. ( It was written : If you do not respond to this mail within 48 hours your dispute will be considered closed )

Well this person Mr.Henry told me that i have got the claim ( after a ver long wait). Now he sent the money to my paypal account. He said if i do not get the money by 15th May then i should inform them. So i waited. Then i got a mail from them that i should close the dispute or they will not pay back my money.

So i tried to close it. But funny it was , it didn't got closed. Now they closed it by themselves.

I need to know that if they cover 50,000 Rs loss through paisa pay then who is enjoying the rest of my money. Why these people did not refunded my money to the right amount.

2. Why indian buyers are being paid in PayPal account?? (if they are being)


They buyer can always file for a chargeback by complaining the Credit Card company. I guess thats a faster way of getting the claim.

Hi Alok,

This is really frustration for you. Sometimes it happens.

Trust on eBay, they have refunded the money to many till date.

You can always file a charge back at your credit card company, But you should keep that as the last way. ---------------
