HELLO ALL SELLERS,
DONT YOU ALL THINK THAT EBAY REALLY DOESNT CARE ABOUT US...
I MEAN EVEN I AM A SELLER AND DAY BY DAY THE TRAFFIC OF NIGERIANS IS REALLY INCREASING...
AND FAKE BUYERS WITH NO ADDRESS ARE ALSO INCREASING.
IF EBAY CAN DO OUR VERIFICATION BEFORE IT ALLOWS US TO SELL..
WHY DOESNT IT DO BUYERS VERIFICATION...
WWW.EBAY.COM takes down credit card info of their buyers for security stake.. then y not ebay.in do it..
ebay people please listen.. day by day you are loosing valued ebay sellers who py you hefty fees ...
hope something is done about it.

Ya i am fully agree with you. As a seller my 3 item was purchased by three different persons and they asked me to deliver it to Nigeria. There payment mode was Western Union. These are all fake buyers. Ebay should do something on this matter

Hello khushitolia and abhishek_sn,
Firstly, I regret the unpleasant experiences you have had as sellers, due to 'fraud' buyers. Clearly, this is one of the biggest issue our seller community is facing at the moment. I wanted to mention some of the things we are doing to help our sellers address this issue.
1. Suspending new users - We continuously monitor new registrations, and regularly suspend many users whom we believe are 'fraud' users even before they can do any activity on the site. However, there might be some users who slip through our monitoring. For such users, the following might help:
2. New feature within Buyer Requirements of SMS verification - We have recently launched a new feature where sellers can decide to block users who have not been SMS verified from bidding on their items. You can create this through the 'Preferences' link in the left hand column of 'My eBay'. On clicking on this link, you will reach a page with a section called 'Selling Preferences'. Buyer Requirements is the last link within this section.
This link will take you to a discussion on this new feature where a community member has opined that this will help address the issue of 'fraud' bidders -
http://forums.ebay.in/thread.jspa?threadID=500000347&start=0
3. We are planning new seller education around this issue as we have seen that these users typically target new sellers, within certain categories.
4. In addition to these, we are looking at what more we can do to reduce this issue
5. Your help required - You, as community members, can help other users from being targeted by these users. Please use the 'Contact Us' link to report such users to us. We will immediately take action to prevent these users from doing any further activity on the site. You can access the 'Contact Us' link from the 'Help' link on the top of almost all eBay pages. For your benefit, the link is http://pages.ebay.in/help/contact_us/_base/index.html
You need to select the option of 'Problems with Other Members' to report these users.
Thanks and Regards,
Rohit,
