Unfair CRF Decision or Unfair Neutral. - Simple Solution

Everywhere is the Hue and Cry of Unfair CRF Decisions, eBay has landed a deaf ear to all those. Typically eBbay concerned with growing revenues no matter they come our dead buyers or sellers.

Two of our, open and shut cases in CRF have been closed against us. In the recent case, buyer did not even replied to the appeal. His contact number is not reachable and the item for which he left a negative feedback has been sold to over 70 people with no complains whatsoever, But this buyer- "Felt" the item was not genuine and Good Lord the Stain has to remain in our Feedback profile.

And Latest neutral- Another buyer is dissatisfied with the shipping charges. And how much were the shipping charges Rs 40 anywhere in India for a Shirt fabric weighing 300 Gms.

Who decides the substance of these feedbacks, which are nothing but a curse to sellers business and his sense of sincerity? No doubt Only eBay employees are themselves using their "logic" and "superb" knowledge of market categories to judge these feedbacks.

Just to make sure some bells ring in proper heads we have come up with a solution. From Now on we are going to increase all prices by 4% for every unfair negative stayed by CRF, and by 2% for every unfair neutral feedback we receive.

Let's call it inflation due to eBay negligence. It may sound a little unfair to buyers but the policy makers need to understand that they are jumping on the trampoline which we sellers are holding. Some repercussions have to be sent to at least make them feel the pinch.

@All, one needs to realize that Feedback has a different need. eBay should understand that Feedback is different from Complaint.
But on eBay it has become a medium to :-

harass a Seller
OR
get more than what is bought or received
OR
make Seller insecure (feedback is directly related to healthiness/assess quality of an account)
OR
override a Competitive Seller by another Seller
OR
Waste both of the Seller/Buyer Time on CRF.

@Buyers, we feel that you must realize that leaving negative/neutral feedback as a medium of communication needs to totally avoided. You need to contact Sellers for any issue and get it resolved. This will help yourself as a buyer.

@Sellers, we feel that feedback should be kept as it is.
Its a voice from a Buyer about his experience of Service and Product that was provided by the Seller.
It needs to be removed if something personally damaging the Seller business or eBay or for illegal / abusive / unacceptable feedback.

@eBay, you need to disconnect the relationship a 'Seller account' based on the feedback system. You can't assess the quality of the Seller account 'on the whole' based on the feedbacks. You should realize that a CompetitiveSeller/GreedyBuyer (with a group of 10 people/friends) can target any no. of Sellers to influence any account by giving wrong feedback.
Maybe you can linkup with any complaints given for Sellers after reviewing and discussing with Sellers on the issue.
A single negative feedback will down the Seller a lot and you can see a drop in listings and an increase in price and further decrease in service levels.
You must realize that many Buyers may not know the values of giving feedbacks And may also not know the difference in feedback and complaint.
Also, you need to introduce a negative feedback system for Sellers to leave to Buyers. http://forums.ebay.in/thread.jspa?threadID=500008502&tstart=0&mod=1297922724554

Well, I have had a worse example of CRF judgements. I had a case of a negative feedback for an umpaid item which was rejected by CRF, but eBay removed it because it was against eBay's feedback manipulation policy. You can view details of the same on my thread:

Ebay is biased towards buyers and as a seller even if you are in the right side the verdict will not be in favour of you. The underlying thing is ebay wants to please buyers. So that they keep buying from ebay which decides their profit. See, Ebay hasnt even dared to reply this thread. By the way who are those jury members deciding on the verdict. No one knows. There should be transparency.
