Beware of the fraud Mr. Aravind Kumar from Hyderabad:
PLEASE NOTE FURTHER I HAVE BOUGHT A LAPTOP FROM THIS FRAUDSTER & MADE PAYMENT ON 8.8.08 AND TILL DATE i.e. ON 19.8.08 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEM FOR WHICH I HAVE MADE PAYMENT TO MR. ARAVIND KUMAR.
Dear All Ebay Members and prospective buyers,
The followng complaint was made to Ebay:
It's an unfortunate incident that has happened to me on your reputed website and it is disappointing to note that fraudsters are freely looting people from your website. I have made numerous complaints to Trust & Safety and on chat and on phone Nos. Please read below the brief of my transaction that has been giving me sleepless nights for not receiving the item for which I have made payment to the seller.
Kindly refer to my purchasing the above item laptop vide ebay listing item No.170248150910 a HCL laptop Pentium IV from one Mr. Aravind Kumar from Andhra Pradesh. Please note, I have made payment to Mr. Aravind Kumar as per the options given by him. Initially, I tried to make payment through credit card which he rejected, then I have received suggestion from ebay to try other options for making the payment so I have made payment made to a SBI Account No. provided by Mr. Aravind Kumar through Ebay. I have made the payment on 8.8.2008 by bank transfer to Mr. Aravind Kumar.
However, till date though Mr. Aravind Kumar sms me the consignment No. as Dn354682392 but did not provide me the name of the courier company through which item he stated to have sent to me. I could have followed up with the courier company had Mr. Aravind Kumar gave me the courier co.'s name. I have been trying his cell No. number of times but he disconects the call and doesn't respond. Till date upto 16th August 2008 neither any courier company has contacted me nor Mr. Aravind Kumar is recheable.
My suspcicion grew stronger when I have today noticed Mr. Aravind Kumar again relisted the same laptop with same configuration or specification vide item No. 170251158369 again for which I have already paid him the amount. This is a gross violation of Ebay policies as he has relisted the item without fulfilling his seller's obligation of delivering the item for which he has been paid amount.
Please note, a couple of days ago Mr. Aravind Kumar has also listed another Dell laptop for Rs.11800/- and now the listing is removed probably for the reason it could have been sold to someone else and he is following the same method of looting people by just listing the item getting the amount paid in his account and not delivering the item to the buyer. This might be happening to no. of buyers like me on this very website.
In view of serious nature of gross violation of Ebay policies I request you to immediately suspend Mr. Aravind Kumar's account till he clears his name of the complaint made against him and I may also be paid refund of the amount I have paid for the above item which I believe now will not receive the delivery of the item because of malacious intention of Mr. Aravind Kumar.
I am attaching herewith SBI payment receipt, payment rejection notification of Mr. Aravind Kumar & Ebay and advice from Ebay for making payment by other methods / options.
I am therefore, request you to kindly redress my complaint and take appropriate steps to curb Mr. Aravind Kumar's looting spree.
I have received at least two mails from other members who have been cheated by MR. Arvind Kumar for Rs.5000/- and Rs.8500/- one member's name is C. Shiv Prasad and other one is from Gwalior. Kindly go through Mr. Aravind Kumar's all the items he sold but buyers did not receive the items.
In view of the above facts, it is proved beyond doubt that Mr. Aravind Kumar is a crook and a criminal cheating people on Ebay, kindly suspend his account immediately to prevent him from cheating other people here on your website.
