this is regarding a transaction which we had with a buyer for a private item, Since we respect our values we do not wish to reveal the identity if the buyer or the product,

The buyer purchased and we shipped it immediately and the buyer after receiving informed us that he has not received dotted but ultrathin then we sent the photographic proof then the buyer accepted that it was dotted but not ultra thin,

buyer's email

"It was dotted alright ... but the count is 32 instead of 40, "

Then he said he has received only 32 and not 40, so we trusted his word and sent another 8, this time we were careful not to be taken for a ride and took photographs and video with date info switched on kindly check the photos taken before sending it to the buyer.

Now after receiving the buyer is stating he has received only 6 and not 8, We are sure the buyer is trying to cheat us and he has left a negative feedback using improper words, We suspected something fishy that is why we took photographs before sending the product with date and time stamp switched on.

What shall we do we are ready to take legal action against the buyer involved we even have the weight proof while sending.

I could not stop laughing - counting or mis-counting dots after wearing it ..lol. But on a serious note - eBay should protect sellers from such miscreants. We can only boast of a vibrant community once we have good and honest people inside. eBay - you might have already been on the job - let us know.

All, let the negative be there, if a notice comes from eBay, have your evidences and ask them to review manually on the feedbacks. You can talk to Account Manager or keep on calling the 1800. Immediately report such signs of cheat plans from Buyers. When you are true, and when buyer tries to cheat (any sign of cheating) report that Buyer immediately. Let eBay not take immediate action but that Buyer will be screwed up soon. It will be good if a sticky thread or separate community board should exist to report such buyers wherein all Sellers will jot there.

inteli_india, if you are true and believe that you/your team had sent total order, there is no need to afraid and you are safe with the scan/weights by courier. You just encouraged such a Buyer by sending again and again.

hydshoppe & others such, its the count of no. of pieces and not dots. But its funny to read along this postings. Nice time.

Hi,

Today was the first day I placed order with ebay and my experience with your customer care was worst. Itโ€™s unexpected from a company like ebay, I was not able to change my name and user id and spoke to Anuradha from your Mumbai center. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and was not ready to help. When I asked for a manager, she refused to escalate. Her statement was โ€œwhat will a manager doโ€ and then she hung up on me. That was the disgusting. I called back and spoke to Antonio (floor supervisor) and he assured me that he will give feedback to Anuradha. I was so fed up with the way i was treated that I decided to cancel my order. This is when I chatted with Shabnam who was very patient and helpful. She helped me and fixed my issue. Shabnam saved a customer for you today and deserves a pat on her back. On the other hand Anuradha needs to undergo an extensive training on customer handling skills.

I am also sending a documented letter to your corporate address.

Sorry about what happend to you. Its buyer like that that give all buyers a bad name.
Secondly, Could it be that the courier company that you are using is the one causing all the trouble? some cheaper courier companies like Professional couriers are known to steal the items and resal the pack.

Hope this gets resolved soon.
