Safe Trading

Two days back I won a bid, and the next day I got a mail from the seller giving me their address, in case I want to make payment by other means.
Today I made an online payment to eBay, and now I have received a mail from the seller asking for my 'complete address'. I have been purchasing through eBay, and this is the first time I am receiving such messages from the seller. Can I give them my address, is it not the job of eBay to provide the seller my complete address with phone number?
Awaiting expert advises.
Thanks

Dear ajitsk,

We do understand your concerns and would like to inform you that only the trading partners can request / view each others contact information.

In order to ensure that there are no returns, sellers may want to be sure of your address and hence would have requested you to provide the same.

If the address registered on your records is the same as your shipping address, you may share it once again with your seller.

In case of any account related issues, you can contact our Customer Support through any of the following channels -

www.ebay.in/customersupport

Regards,
Seema
