Product and Fees Changes on eBay.in..Sellers - Happy or Unhappy?

Well I was
going through this announcement where I have seen various changes have done. But
when I saw Ebay wants Gallery and Listing Designer as chargeable I was really
unhappy. My fellow sellers what are your views about this ? R u Happy or Unhappy
? Do you think Gallery and Listing Designer need to be feesable to us ? My
views about Gallery And Listing Designer :

"UNHAPPY"

Reason : If
a seller is selling 2000 products will he choose gallery and listing designer on
1st April ? Answer is NO. Sales will go down. Fake buyers are in bulk in India.
Buyers are not in bulk and quantity of good buyers is very low.

I need my fellow
sellers views too. Plz reply to this thread with your views specifying the
reason . This change will be effective from 1st April,2006. Ebay - R u making
our April fool or what:-(:_|X-( ??

I too agree with indconcepts. I don't think eBay will care for community members.

Dear Friends,

It is very SAD that all eBay members were just wasting their time in replying here and stronly bealiving that eBay will consider Community Request/Sugestion
( Atleast regular reply is expect from eBay).

Thats Great News for the Community.

Community has WON.

eBay do has value for the Community.

eBay has postponed Listing designer fee.

We struggled for 24 days but a fee was announced .... Gallery & Listing
Designer Fee.

We kept writting on the Community Board and eBay has shown an excellent
gesture.

Let's all of us thank eBay, for this gesture.

It was not a matter of just few pennies but a reflection of what eBay thinks
towards its Community.

eBay Team .......... You are great.

This shows that eBay is not driven by eBay.com but by eBay's Indian
Community.

Hi,

I am so happy to see that at last eBay has shown some flexibility in this matter. Feels great to know that community has some value.

I would have been happier to see the Gallery fees being waived instead of Listing Designer as we can avail free borders from net. But its true that in India most people are not so accustomed with HTML / Web designing tools, hence, most would have suffered. I do not think that too many green camera icon will look good for the Indian site where people still get attracted primarily by the glitters - but then one can't get all those wished for.

Enough about those reasoning - I feel relieved and elated that we have been successful to retain some benefits for the time being. My sincere gratitudes to eBay.in for being considerate.

Announcement has indicated that listing designer fees is postponed -- Bole to slow poison. "Sellers ko do fees ikatthi hazam nahi ho rahi to pehle gallery fees charge karo aur ek mahine baad listing designer". Great politics]:)

I agree with emailswaroop and touchandshine.

Not only would we have been more comfortable with a waiver of gallery fees, but also we know very well that this is slow poison. Good politics eBay!!! :_|

NEwayz, I would rather thank all board members for the instinted support on the matter. Hope we stay bonded in a similar fashion even in the future for any such impractical hurdles that may sprout.

Right now I m revising all my unsold items one by one and unchecking the feature -- "Gallery". It's really disgusting and irritating and I m really unhappy doing this with my listing:-(. Gallery feature should be free. If ebay want to charge for Listing Designer then charge but leave gallery free:_| ---- Plzzzz:-(.
