I often find that whatever I search for, the listing would contain too many products from a specific seller, who imports everything from US to India (Genuine Import). Now, thats cool, but I do not want to buy from such a seller, for several reasons like they are more expensive and they take a long time for overseas shipping, may be simply they are not meant for use in India.

I would tell you it can be sometimes so annoying that I drop the idea of buying a product.Please give an option like how google has implemented.
To hide all listings from this seller.

Yes I know there is an advanced search but I am quite lazy to go there, type the seller's name every single time and exclude from listing. This option can be made available in the listing page itself.

This is a real problem. I am a seller but sometimes when I am looking something to buy, I am really frustated that so many items are from this seller and I am not interested in those items for the reasons stated above. If you check, many of these items has no relevance to indian customers.

So can there be an option where a user can block a seller's listing from appearing from search results when he is logged in and searching for items? This may be through preferences in profile setting.

yes that happens to me either. i am not interested to buy the from this seller and i would like to filter these seller items not be displayed while i am searching .
hope ebay help us in this regard.
