Payment gateway issues and cards not being accepted -Killing sellers

Iam a seller and eBay payment gateway issues are killing us.
I myself tried buying items on eBay and both of my debit cards were rejected and I was given an error message- please try another card.
Iam guessing a lot of buyers are facing the same.

Iam really disappointed that the payment gateway is operating in such a way.
This issues have been lying around since a great number of days.
We have lost so much business 😞
Sellers, Comment if you feel this is true

Since Ebay rejects my Indian Overseas Bank on-line transfer and debit card payment methods, I am unable to buy anything from Ebay now. Are the items in the listing only for the showcase or for sale?

I have same issue paying my seller fees through both card and net banking.
both times my money got debited but my account shows still payable.

This is a major issue. please fix it.

I could pay may eBay fees on the 4th attempt.

I wonder what new buyers must be doing........

Iam really disappointed to look at the pathetic gateway condition. It literally rejects almost 50% of the cards 😞
This issue has plagued me since almost an year!!!

A lot of buyers are complaining too that cards are being rejected. Eventually they lose interest and find other shopping destinations (there are a ton out there with better deals)

I don't know why and what is happening .
I have zero number of buyers since the last one or two weeks - dip of almost 100% ( my search standing is pretty good and I have good positive feedback) so it is definitely the payment system.

Other shopping websites are really taking away all business and revenue and we here pay 12% commission in total + payment gateway rejecting the minute number of buyers we new sellers get. = time wasted, wastage of listing fee .

Also listing upgrades were removed which discouraged all new sellers like me. 😞
Got to wait and see what happens.

Some of my buyer contact me, and raise such issue. I ask them to purchase another seller item 😞 I am loosing my loyal buyers

Yes I too yesterday faced same issue. While making payment I was getting error "Payment can't be processed try different card or payment method"

But in evening it worked.

Ebay , look at all of us. We are loosing revenue and steadily everyone's coming out with similar complaints.

Please let us know what the problem is.
At least comment. We will feel some assurance is given.

If this goes on, sellers lose interest and quit.
We don't want that to happen.

I am also using IOB debit card. Firstly, there is no option for IOB (Indian Overseas Bank) debit cards.
And then it rejects the card - saying something like, "You cannot use that card. Please use another card." or something similar.
First I thought my card is the problem - and seller gets worried, when the buyer says things like I cannot pay, due to .... whatever....
And then on the third day of trying it went through, as a CREDIT CARD! At this point I am totally confused - what was wrong?
And what about IOB makes it some sort of a pariah for Paisapay for Debit card payments?
Get some competent staff, eBay - this is lousy, lazy ... and lousy again!
