I had purchased a used mobile through E - Bay seeing an add. that "SONY ERRICSON M600i MOBILE PHONE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION".The seller had shipped it on 17/09/10 and on receiving it I found it is not in working condition.On 23.09.10 I posted A negative feed back on customer. On 26/09/10 the seller contacted me for a revision on feedback and I told him about the problems. Then he told me that a friend of him is at Thiruvananthapuram who is a mobile phone technician and he will go through phone and will tell him.I told him that I will review the feedback only after that.On the same day the seller mailed to ebay informing that he had talked to me and I told him that I had wrongly posted the negative feedback. I had seen this mail on 29/09/10 and on the same day I made a refund claim as the seller is trying to cheat.Today(07/10/10) a lady executive contacted me from +912266041000 at 4.33pm for a resolution.I asked her that will anybody accept if the seller had advertised that SONY ERRICSON M600I MOBILE PHONE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION and I can't even use it for 1 day as it is not in working condition, she told me that ebay doesn't guarantee for used items and repeated it several times on conversation. This seems that she is trying help the seller for wrong things and on conversation with seller I asked him the same question and he replied that on ebay dead items are also sold. This shows that he knows that he knew that the phone is not in working condition.I asked the executive for the refund and the seller replied that If the touch is the problem I should go to a technician and repair it and he will pay the amount to me.I demanded on refund and the executive disconnected on saying that she will contact later. On conversation with seller he told me that I should have inform him before 3 days on receipt of shipment. I don,t think it is needed as I hadn't purchased the item directly.I also remind that the seller had shipped the product on 17/09/10 and I had send a negative feedback on 23/09/10. On 6.30 PM I contacted the customer service and the wxecutive told me that the refund is not possible as the case is closed in favour of seller.This shows that anyone can advertise wrongly and cheat a buyer through ebay and the staff will help the buyer on that.I still feel that the case is not closed and I am ready to send the item to the seller and ebay should initiate a refund of my money.

What did you got by giving the Seller a negative feedback? It hurts his online reputation as a Seller. Negative or Neutral Feedback should be the last resort and not the first one. There are other options by which you can negotiate with your Seller and sort out the matter in your favor.
Negotiate with the seller saying if he gives some money back which would be useful for repairing the damaged mobile, then you can withdraw the negative feedback and make it +ve feedback. Negative feedback kills sellers business.
And, don't buy any items from new sellers, or be cautious, any reputed sellers don't do business for -ve feedbacks or for some extra money by selling fraud items.
Absolutely right. I am a Power Seller on ebay done more than rs. 2,00,000 lac sales in less than 5 months. Still when i ask ebay to give me Power Seller tag they say that we will provide you soon and then no one calls or give us features. This has repeated more than 10 times now. i am fedup of this shit service from eBay. They dont just have bad service to buyers. they also neglect sellers because of whom this company ebay is surviving.
I bought a faceplate of sony ericsson k550i. The item was recieved but was not as priced. It was of cheap quality and also did not properly fit in my phone. I claimed for a refund on 16.09.2010 and repeatedly tried to contact eBay and the seller for a refund. For nearly a month I didn't hear anything from them and after a month they said my claim was dismissed, reason unknown!
They simply delayed to pass the time for any other action. Now after one and a half month of my purchase I cannot do anything.
