This seller informed me that he could not send thro' COD and told me to send payment by draft which I did.Now the seller has sent me neither the product nor my money.E-bay cancelled his listing but he told me that it was a technical problem.he also told me that he has sold over600 pieces so I should believe him and send the draft in name of karan sood.I have called at least 15 times on his mobile but the person is not attending. A FRAUD ?
I also want to ask e-bay what are they going to do about it ? I have neither got the product nor my money.I also want to ask: Why is a seller listed again when he is once de-listed ? I am thinking about further action.

ive been on bazee and then ebay and i have shifted from india and currently am in Australia ...... I have had no problems on any purchases as i have bought them from ebay australia.....but i was just looking through the ebay india site and it is apalling that there are dozens of pirated cds....games and movies ..... being sold on ebay......is this what ebay is about ??? i asked a seller if his product, priced at a 100 Rs was original and the reply i got was .... You expect original at this price ?? and this was a seller who has had hundreds of sales........ and there are soo many more.... Why is there no check in ebay india ?? Its like piracy Haven out there...... Please do sumthing about this....

I am trying to sell a used SonyEricsson J200i mobile on Ebay for the last 4 weeks. It happens everytime that the buyer who wins the item donot respond to any Emails from me. They just bid for fun. How can this be prevented?

I understand from your designation that you are managing Trust and Safety for both Buyers and Seller.
I have few concerns about operations of your systems.
1. You are registering many sellers and even giving them ratings like power sellers which provides a lot of confidence to the buyers but these are not even registered dealers with the TAX (VAT OR CST) which you should take a serious note before registering these seller who are evading taxes.
2. As a alert buyer if I ask for invoice from the seller in order to keep my purchase record , is it a crime and you give liberty to give a negative feedback to a genuine buyer without undergoing any preiminary enquiry from the seller and ascertaing the reasons for his feedback whereas buyer pays in advance trusting the platform Ebay and if buyer asks the seller to provide Seller Invoice before submitting feedback.
3. Inspite of warning and intimating such malpractices by the sellers to Ebay Customer Support the sellers are allowed to continue such tax evasive practices.
Atlast I again suggest you to closely watch such traders who are involved in such practices otherwise one day it will take a shape of big Tax scam and Ebay will loose its reputation and may be made a party to the complicity of the tax evasion crime and buyers will loose confidence in Ecommerce which is foundation of future of trade

My user id is skexports_in1, selling diamond jewellery from delhi. My question is about suspension of account process. I've 8 companies selling diamond jewellery at ebay.in. Skexports_in1 is the biggest one with 584 positive ratings. i've seen that whenever there is a account suspension, there is no prior intimation to the seller. I've an average listing of more than 3000 per month. when the account gets suspended all linked accounts too get suspended. Then the very appalling & slow process of reinstating the account goes underway. My question is why a reminder/warning/notice is not given to a seller before suspending his/her account. so that he/she can rectify the problem/issues & resolve them beforehand instead reinstating his/her account & wasting time & money. This will save lot of harrassment to seller. Becoz buyers who had bids or already purchased items panic when they see seller getting suspended. Buyers ask many irrelevant questions for which a seller cannot even reply as he is suspended. Moreover biddings worth lacs gets removed, a loss of business to both seller & ebay. I think in today's world each business means profit. Ebay & their sellers shuld not loose business becoz of it. I think being at a responsible position u must chalk out some plans for this kind of situation. thanx puneet

Buyers Are Lords of Ebay i must say. Ebay has shown Buyers some tricks of buying & not paying. Let me explain u with an example. A buyer buys a product worth Rs.10000/- thru paisapay. When the product arrives he/she give a chargeback saying " Product Not As Described". Paisapay issues Chargeback. The money goes to buyer. Seller has no "SAY". Product Remains With Buyer, Seller looses Money as well As Product. There is no way that the product can be retrieved. Is this Fair Justice To Sellers!!! Who Decides "Item Not As Described" i think Buyers...who sometimes have no knowledge of Product. Kindly Think....

Well i must say once account & linked accounts are suspended. The very process is tiring,time consuming & frustrating. Well the account which gets suspended gets reinstated quickly once the issues are resolved but the linked accounts takes lot of time for reinstatement. To give u an eg. My account sk_pearls got suspended on 17/9/06 on account of non-payment of ebay fees. While after paying the fees, the sk_pearls account got reinstated quickly. But other linked accounts took time to get reinstated, some took 48hrs-72hrs. But surprisingly my three accounts puneet_jewels,soltaires_in1 & free_diamond_jewellery are still suspended after 6 days have passed. Though i've responded to alerts & asked 4-5 times abt the account reinstatement, but there are no replies from anywhere. I think its a big concern for Ebay & its Sellers. Pls Chalk out a plan, as the linked accounts suspension is simultaneous, the reinstatement of all linked accounts shuld also me simultaenous.

This is a good opportunity e-Bay provides and I congratulate and thank e-Bay for the same.
My questions are in 2 parts :
I have my reservations on the auctions at e-Bay. If an item is purchased at a low price in an auction, I find that the seller generally refrains in giving the delivery. I have participated in 3 auctions and al the time the reult is same - the seller never supplied the item and my payment got stuck. Two my cases are still pending with e-Bay. How are you ensuring :
1) Such sellers do not come back to e-Bay
2) There is a penalty on such sellers
3) The buyer is adequately compesated
Further in case the buyer has paid though Paisapay I see no reason in your deducting any processing fee what to so ever from buyer. The same should be recovered from the seller.
I have a case where in I paid through Paisapay (thru credit card)in an auction. The seller failed to provide the delivery. The dispute opened by me was escalated to Claim. Your Claim Settler asked me to get a denial of my claim from my credit card company that the sum paid by the credit card company to e-Bay on my behalf for the product has not been refunded to me by them. My credit card company says they do not issue such letters. I have already made payment to my credit card company too.
Now I am stuck and I have no clue what to do. There is no personalised guidance available. Help me to get the claim.
