Dear Community Members,

I am Sameer Yadav, Manager for Trust & Safety Operations for eBay India. Under this role, my team is responsible for Trust and Safety operations and support.

We have made two significant enhancements to our phone support offering the facility to seller to call and also the team reaching out to sellers when listing policy violation is noticed.

1.Inbound toll free phone support - The T&S team is now a call away to address your questions concerns related to feedback, site policies, activity limits or account restrictions. We recognize your need to be able to speak with T&S team directly and this service initiative will help you discuss and get quick resolution & guidance on T&S.

2.TnS calls on listing policy violations - Understanding site policies is critical to the sellers business. To help sellers improve understanding of policies we have started calling sellers to explain violations for the listed items. This process will help sellers to better understand the policy, seek clarification during the call and the chance to correct their listings that minimize listing violations done due to lack of knowledge. This process has already been initiated for few policies and we are working to cover most of our policies.

I will be present on the Community Boards for an Open House Session on 8th June 2011, 4-5 PM.

I will encourage you to post your thoughts, comments and suggestion on this thread. I am looking forward towards this meeting and I hope to gather lot of useful feedback from you.

Dear guptazmall,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Accounts belonging to the same family are considered to be related.

We have reviewed your account and have found that your account is linked to another account i.e. aicc76 which is suspended under Seller Non Performance for 12 months.

As per eBay policy, if an account is suspended, all the related account will be suspended or restricted irrespective their listing category. Your account aicc76 can only be reinstated after the completion of suspension period i.e. after 6th Dec, 2011. I am sorry to say that restrictions placed on your account guptazmall cannot be removed and it will be removed.

SUGGESTED POLICY CHANGES:

I am currently getting low feedback (rating) in respect to shipping time by many buyers.

I am shipping all my items within 24 hours of receipt of order by SPEED POST (India Post) and uploading the same on Ebay.

Speed Post many time take longer time for delivery but is guaranteed delivery. I had many packets misplaced or item tampered by Courier companies.

In Ebay.com there is a provision that if the seller ships the good in 24 hours (1 day of receipt of payment) than he automatically gets a 5 star rating (as in the case of FREE shipping in Ebay.in)

I feel this should be incorporated at Ebay.in also. As a seller it causes a lot of problem to my rating and to me.

To your first concern on TNS team being biased, I would like to assure you that this is not the case. The team has been trained to look at all the aspects of a transaction before arriving at a decision.

For me to assist you further, I would request you to mail us the details of any specific case that you are referring to.

Dear dealer1703 ,

We would suggest you to use a courier company that guarantees delivery at the earliest for a good buyer experience. Communicating effectively with the buyers on the dispatch details would also improve your overall DSR scores.

We thank you for your suggestion on automatic 5 star DSRS for shipment within 24 hours.

Hi,

You have not replied to my query on restriction on listing in my account under "coins" catogree.

I need to know what mistake has been done by me so i do not repeat it again.

I did not get any call or Email before restricting my account.

There is no appeal also.

Please have this restriction removed. 30 days is a long time.

Who can i do business.

I DO NOT KNOW MY FAULT.
