I am Anil Shenoy, Manager – Marketplace Health for eBay India.

Under this role, my team is responsible for Site policies & implementing proactive programs to ensure eBay India remains fair & safe for our community members. Over the last 6 months we have made modifications to our site policies (eBay Guarantee*, Feedback removal, Seller protection & Acceptable Payments policy) and launched outreach programs to educate new sellers to deliver to a good experience to our buyers.

I will be present on the Community Boards for an Open House session on 1st August 2011, between 4 pm and 5 pm.

I will encourage you to post your thoughts, comments and suggestions on this thread.

I am looking forward towards this meeting and I hope to gather lot of useful feedback from you.

Dear Anilji,
As soon as the seller opts for cheque payment in fixed price listing or sells in auction, he enters a danger zone. Nonpaying negative givers take advantage of this situation.
I have tried to solve this by not opting for non-PaisaPay money. I have also stopped 1 Paisa auction or any auction in eBay India.
This is my way of self protection. But this is not solution. I can suggest a solution for this. Please see that nonpaying buyers are barred from giving feedback.
Also you should lower your DSR standards for lady sellers. Make the nice ladies feel more secure in our eBay community.

When i called buyer, buyer says that he's satisfied. But when we told him to give a positive comment he was not able to understand the process and later was ignoring our calls.

i have found some of the inconvenience

kindly let me know the way to resolve it

feedback left by yasuzak184

"good but unfortuneately it does not fix my C 6 mobile"

he has purchased c6-01 cover from me buyer is not contactable over phone neither he is replying ebay messaging system

buyer id imdrsb and neloyghosh contact number is wrong and left a neutral

now the most interesting case

buyer left me a negative sujit_abc

stating "Chek da item b4 signing off courier receipt or warranty void-- is it possible?"

but i haven't mentioned anything like this on my listing
i have gone through CRF but i have lost the case eventhough buyer haven't applied any judgement
please remove this feedback



dear sir why you are running CRF when it can't remove the feedback

we lose money product and then feedback would be removed why is it like this

@om_estore...You have highlighted a very important point here.

Anil sir, please make the process of "Follow up to feedback left" and Feedback Revision" very simple so that buyers can do the revision by themselves very easily. The present procedure is very cumbersome and not easy at all for buyers to understand and do the changes by themselves. At present on the phone we have to guide the buyer how to do the change and this makes the customer very irate and usually a happy buyer is also not willing to spend so much time to do the revision.

I request you to please also make a Help Page for this procedure so that buyers can get to know how to do the revision easily and quickly. Please make the process VERY simple with a few clicks and PLEASE treat this as URGENT.

hello, am a ebay user since 8 years..have bought few items through ebay..just a month back, i bought one from for which i am supposed to pay through paypal..i am frustrated and embarrassed that i yet have not been able to pay the seller, since none of my debit cards seem to working with paypal..for example HDFC, Canara, Bank of India and maharashtra bank...dont know how to rfesolve the same, as i am a genuine buyer, but unable to proceed with the transaction,...have contacted Ebay U.S for the same, yet no reply...
kindly help...
